FFXIAH Linkshell Ni
I'm just fishing in Ramuh while I wait for my sister. Alyrea is my fishing mule on there.
And if you wear Adaman feet over AF feet like I saw most Plds do, I will sign in, re-activate my account, and slap you until you change.
PLD for the most part is completely AH until AF and later on.
Jelly Ring for EXPing up, Bomb Queen Ring for much later. Both EX.
Earrings are a rough call since PLD gets super shafter...Drones are the usual for Shield Proc rate. Cassie Earring is used from 1-75, but is 300k+ depending on server. But in all seriousness, leveling is really NO R/EX except Bibiki Seashell(easy quest) and Jelly Ring (100% drop) that comes to mind.
At 72+ though things get hectic as everything good is R/EX. :/

PLD should be cheap since it was a bandwagon job and everyone levels it. I'll just be a GS PLD 10-75 lol.

He's an Elvaan, a Cassie Earring would probably just hurt him, as he'll only have like 50 MP, lolol.

Oh, is he? xD Yeah...Cassie is really a Hume/Mifrah/Taru choice. Unless you have a lot of MP merits on Elvaan, I'd say skip it...

I expect pretty much all jobs to get 'hectic' at the 70+ levels. I'm more concerned on getting there.

Lol, oh well. Maybe I will buy it back =P It all depends on what I decide to level.
I'd like to, but getting everyone together during the week is a pain in the ***. I don't mind getting ahead (did with Haseyo and Gaoski before), but the main group pretty much sticks to Mondays. Otherwise we have to do multiple runs to catch people up.
Edit: If we can get 2-4 BSTs (one person in group has BST high enough) then we could knock it out that way. Multiple runs like that would be easy.

We had an awsome tarudin on Valefor. Ya we have very low HP and too weak STR, but that little *** could keep some hate.

I had 3 Bsts when I did it with the linkshell. I realized I needed to quit after I got the key item from the Professer, lol. My last fight was against a Taru Fomor Mnk, that was entertaining.

I don't /shout for fillers / help. I use ffxiah to search for people that need the mission.

I have one BST already. I'm hoping a BST / PUP / SMN could beat em. If not then I think we have enough in shear numbers (provided everyone is online) that we could pick up the slack if pets get pwned.

As long as he can keep hate, that's all that matters. After all, that is a Pld's job.
See low VIT means more dmg taken, but with the extra MP it's easily overlooked.
I thought a Paladin's job was to keep hate and "not die". lol
In a game where 8 MP equates to roughly 33 HP, or a ratio of 4:1 in MP's favor, Taru PLDs can be amazing at keeping their HP up and in general holding hate a lot better.

Our group has 2 SMNs (counting you), a PUP, and a BST. Drag along Row and that's 3 SMNs.

Also more damage taken means more enmity lost per hit taken, and less hp gives you less play room. It's alot more complex than just durrr voke and flash.

We used to have a Taru Pld in my Dyna shell.. That guy sucked. Died pretty much everytime a Mnk or Nin used 2hr. >.>

Sure they will do fine in an exp party. Put them against some upper lvl NM's and watch them get one shotted. The extra 100-150mp does not remotely make up for the 300+ hp and who knows how much vit loss.

OK mr. I know FF. The only cure that cause any decent amount of damage is Cure 4. Tarudins get 1 extra, maybe 2 if they get good refreshes. That is not better than HP and VIT when tanking. If curing yourself is your end all be all in tanking....find a new job. A taru will lose more enmity from taking more damage per swing than they will gain from an extra cure 4. So please get it to 75 and tank endgame before you comment.
