Idk. Some peoples' pets live better than I do... so there's that to think about. what does a free life mean? my dog has it better with me than he would on his own. he takes off to romance random *** he smells on the breeze, and yet, presumably, when he's done, he comes back... so... how subjugated is he? meh. idk.
I have always thought, since I was a young lad, that whales and dolphins had comparable intelligence levels to humans, and I was reading a deal the other day that scientists were proving some dolphins somewhere were having a conversation. I can see why no one listened to me, as I was 12 and 1400 miles from an ocean.

Yeah, I can see both sides also. I just have flashbacks to goofing off at my buddyrina's real deal ranch. She barrel raced, we would have to break horses once they reached adolescence. That is a God damn adrenaline rush! Lessons in not backing down and holding your ground no matter what to establish dominance. You DO NOT turn your back. You have to work with them for at least an hour a day every-***'-day.
I also volunteered at a ranch at which they had therapeutic riding for kids with a myriad of disabilities throughout high school. It was fun, but some people would donate unbroken horses sometimes. I guess they didn't want to deal with them? It's kind of sad. They closed that ranch during the recession.

I also stayed home sick yesterday. Was up on the boat over the weekend, which was nice, but clearly something in the approaching-autumn air was kicked up, because my allergies were going apeshit Sunday night into yesterday and my sinuses were pissed off in a way normally reserved for being hit with mustard gas.
Just a bit of a lingering sinus headache and scratchy throat now though, so thanks Claritin, Flonase. You're overpriced, but at least you work. Kind of. Sort of. Marginally better than placebo.
Spent the day listlessly roaming the Commonwealth Wasteland with a new character designed to be as big of a *** to people as possible while still helping them. "I killed those raiders you were too much of a pussy to deal with yourself. Pay me."

These guys were friends/acquaintances of mine in high school trying to do something... that ended up being called "Tardcore" Retard + Hardcore.

My dad's got a buddy who is a hell of a guitar player but he solos facing away from the audience. Not for any "they're gonna steal my licks" ***like Eddie Van Halen was always being paranoid about, but just because it helped him focus and take away some performance anxiety and he played better that way.
