Whoever said being a Murloc meant you couldn't be speak smoothskin speak.
was just reading a thing about ancient viruses laying dormant in ice caps. how they can thaw, continue on about their infecting ways. i now want to bathe in bleach for the rest of my life.
giant pithovirus Sounds like a good plot device for a movie about researchers in an icey area
lol that was a running joke through out the article.

I liked when Faith No More was the proto-incubus:

Why do both the most idiotic and the best discussions on AH appear at night? Interesting theory, well enough to be a thing(no pun intended)but from both films, even though we see an adaption to varies situations, the adaptation is usually "I must survive at all costs". We have yet to see any of these adaptations being with non-organic things. Wasn't one of the tests with teeth fillings? If so, it didnt adapt there. Forgive, its been a while since Ive seen both films, the 1982 Thing being one of my fav movies of all time too. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Why do both the most idiotic and the best discussions on AH appear at night? I don't know how the best ones appear at night since I'm usually not on at night, but I'm also surprised that the most idiotic discussions appear at night...for the exact same reason. That aside: I love the 1982 film and I have a deep respect for the source material (early/mid-20th century "Weird Fiction" is a favorite of mine...obviously of Carpenter's too, given his movies), but I have not seen the newer movie, nor have I explored any expanded universe, canon or otherwise. But I also like having a little ambiguity, personally. For the very same love of those weird tales. Not knowing is half the fun. Carpenter idolatry aside, how is EveryNiThing this morning?
I innocuously pulled something in my back over the weekend, no idea how (curse you old age) and now it's okay when I'm sitting still but as soon as I forget that it hurts I move to grab something and *ping* "Hey, remember me!?" *coffee* Whatever. It'll fall in line sooner or later. Go to a D.O. and have him/her realign your back McFeely.
it helps if like my doc he is the size of a grizzly bear. my wife woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me my 22 year old son home visiting for the weekend was sick.... what should we do? go back to sleep? no but he is sick I'm sure he'll be fine but why is he sick? idk.... see how much beer is missing from the fridge? she got up and got him some water motrin and pepto... my mom would have yell told me to keep it down.. Eh. If it keeps up for a while I'll go see someone. Last time it happened though I went to the doctor and they were all, "Well, we can give you some narcotics if you want, otherwise you're just going to have to deal with it."
Narcotics, by the by, don't make me feel nice like they seem to do for everyone else. They may me want to vomit and work maybe a *** hair better than Aleve for actual pain relief. So I went home and had a taco and waited for it to blow ever. Shiva.Nikolce said: » I know the difference between an MD and a DO. My family practice actually has plenty of both (I go to a family practice associated with a local hospital where there's a rotation of first through third year residents and some overseeing veteran doctors). Also the difference between a DO and a DC. A DO practices real medicine in addition to the osteopathy hocus pocus, and a DC is basically a snake oil salesmen who knows how to crack your back and use an x-ray machine. Edit: ...I also work with a building full of MDs and DOs alike. Which is enough to make you second-guess any type of doctor any given day, frankly. *** YOU REMO!
you complained that you hurt you're back. I told you what to do to fix it. I'm pushing fifty and I have tried every possible alternative for back pain and the absolute best solution is a trip to a DO for a back alignment and four motrin. and you have to tell them that's what you are coming in for or whine like a coon hound passing a peach pit you ***! I'll never understand it...people go out of their way to hike up the goddamned mountain to the oracle of delphi....they get the sagest advice of the goddamn ages and then they're all like I'm just gunna eat a taco and *** Siren.Mosin said: » silly ***. I pulled a muscle in my back, I didn't fall off a horse. I said if it keeps up I'd consider it. Besides, bitching is a bit of therapy in and of itself. *coffee* John Carpenter is great funny story about him, but I can't tell ut lol.
Big Trouble Little China and Prince of Darkness are some favorites. *dodges Nik's coffee cup*
Alright, I'll let this transgression slide. It's Monday, it's an emotional day, I get it. You took it out on the Ni Holy Waterâ„¢. It was undeserving of your wrath, but it happened. Let's just move past it. ...But don't let it happen again. Lakshmi.Zerowone said: » John Carpenter is great funny story about him, but I can't tell ut lol. What kind of dicktease ***is this!? |
