So, as you may remember my entire family pretty much severed ties with crazy cousin last year, last winter he bought a newer truck we wouldn't recognize so that he could hunt near us but we wouldn't notice it.
Crazy is severely paranoid and thinks that if he's getting a good deal on something, he:s getting ***. So he probably paid more than the truck was worth. Fast forward to January, crazy makes temporary peace with alcoholic cousin long enough for alcoholic cousin to check out a strange noise in this new truck. Turns out the entire front end was worn out. "I'm not helping him fix it, he still owes me $250." The fact that he undoubtedly overpaid for a truck with a worn out front end made me giggle because I think it's karma. ...it gets better. Crazy paid out the *** to get the truck fixed and that was that. Last month, Crazy and Mrs. Crazy (the law firm receptionist who thinks she's an attorney) go to Houston for a wedding. The truck gets stolen. ...it gets even better. The truck is found full of stolen cash registers, thief is arrested, truck is impounded as evidence. It has a busted steering column and is still in Houston. ...you guessed it, it gets *** better. Crazy gets the truck home and it's running like ***so he takes it to a dealership. So to recap, Crazy overpaid for a worn out truck, paid to have it fixed, got it stolen, paid to get it out of impound, paid to get it home via shipping, has to pay for a new steering column, a new ignition lock, a new ignition switch, new keys to be cut and programmed, and then whatever the dealership mechanics start claiming is wrong with it. This makes me giggle and I'm not even ashamed to admit it. They bought the truck off their inheritance money, right? When you say "severed ties", you mean that he quit the family business, also? Fuzzy on this right now.

Something I forgot to add; he cancelled full coverage in favor of liability 3 days before the truck was stolen. Now, was he fired before or after they bought the truck, because that would add another level of hilarity! Yeah, you certainly earned some chuckles having to deal with that guy. His wife was apparently abusing some database at work to look up information on members of our family then telling him what she found. She's not supposed to have access to such info and if she did, she'd be breaching some confidentiality something or other by telling her husband. I wanted to have her fired but we left it alone. Crazy was a machinist but he's worked and either been fired from or quit every machine shop in this and surrounding counties, usually over arguments so he ended up working with us, he's been unemployed since we got rid of him.
Ahhh...This was the lady who was dishing out info for contracted work with the whisper of nepotism. Fuuuck...I might be getting this confused with some sub crap we dealt with a while ago. I remember you or someone here mentioning similar circumstances that would get a company blackballed here.
Good riddance. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Ahhh...This was the lady who was dishing out info for contracted work with the whisper of nepotism. Good riddance. cocaine is cool. I wish I was young again.

Pour one out for youthful idiocy. Cocaine, booze and weed staying up all night working, talking, dancing, sweating then going to sleep around 10am. Waking up at 5pm and repeat...then I got married :(
Probably shaved some years off the ole life but hey it was a fun summer :) In retrospect, learning that it's most likely cut with meth on its way out of Houston made some of us do a double-take after college.
/cringe i was just never that big on coke. i mean sometimes a little bump for good luck, but for the most part just give me a roll or damn adderall. at least i know what's in the adderall.
I just wish you could get some from the pharmacy with a doctor's note.
"This guy is old, has no fun, and just needs to party once or twice a year. 2 grams cocaine refillable once before 2017" hmmmm...
convince a doctor one of your kids has adhd and steal all their pills? too much work. plus, cocaine is great. I don't know much about adderall.
Addy's were good for mid-term/finals crunch, and making kitchens sparkle while you're roommates are bitching at each other about dishes.
Ugh...Shouldn't be talking about this on here. The fact you guys don't share with your king is despicable.

Niko's our main supplier Asura.Dameshi said: » The fact you guys don't share with your king is despicable. We're sorry. There was a time and place for it. I doubt any of us have any access to illicit substances anymore, because we're old and lame now. (The people I know who still do have access aren't really the people I consort with anymore.) Weird question. Does anyone remember the first time they smoked weed? The girl who I did it with her boyfriend was the first guy to drop out of our high school in eons. She had the entire to-do planned, and it was laughably stereotypical of stoners: DMB "Look at this Magic Eye poster!" Watched Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland' No effect on me, so I didn't partake for another couple of years. "Are you serious? You've never tried <insert drug here>?! You should try it at least once in your life."
My mom gives good advice. She seemed almost disappointed in me when she found out I had never smoked pot. What some Gen Xers and early Yers remember...
EDIT: They ran that well into the early 1990s. Some things though you should never touch, like heroine or meth.

I could imagine some things for a first timer could be horrifying with strangers out on the town or at a bar or something. yeesh. Dumb people shouldn't partake in some things either though. something about MDMA rips right into simple minds and can lead to some super strange ***. Oh, and never trust a guy who says 'just give me your cash, I'll brb." Siren.Mosin said: » Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Weird question. Does anyone remember the first time they smoked weed? Much like everything else in life. did we run girlboy off? you're really not missing anything, I wouldn't sweat it.
