I have this friend that is a culture chameleon, kind of like skully, meaning that rather than having his own personal style he emulates the style, mannerisms and dress of whoever he is hanging out with at the time. which is really creepy and weird when you notice he is dressing and talking like you/me when five minutes earlier he liked the Cure and was all depressed or whatever.
and so he starts hanging out with this metal guy and all the sudden everything is "sick" this is sick, that is sick, it's so sick, isn't that sick?

monday sucks homeless junkie's *** in the underground subway bathroom for nickels. I have work piled up to my eyeballs and nothing is getting any more done hanging around here. so screw you guys, but also have a nice thanksgiving, I'm going to eat a turkey leg like king henry the 8th and smoke a big fat cigar and drink japanese whiskey and everything else before that is the tidal wave of sewage that I'm swept up in until thursday when I can relax so...

Crazy thing happened this weekend. Sunday morning we discovered the hubby's back windshield and a neighbor's back passenger side window were shot out sometime during the night. What in the ever living ***?!? We don't live in a bad neighborhood and we live in city limits. What the hell?
EDIT: Well, damn Nik. Now, my suspicions have gone from douche bag teens to homeless junkies. Does that count? Good enough?

He's on the list of inspectors my agent has of reputable guys and he was also referred to me by a coworker who keeps rental properties and has had him inspect a few places. He's got certifications coming out the wazoo and has positive reviews on some of those "how are these construction/home repair/etc. guys" websites (Angie's list, etc.)
Can't find anything bad about him, so.
Let the nail biting through the holidays commence.
Assuming inspection passes muster and there are no unforeseen financial hiccups (which there shouldn't be), looking forward to moving in the dead of winter! <_<;

That's how we ended up fleeing to the township/suburbs with all the other white people... and india indians.
I still feel a little guilty about it....I was all on board with obama's NO FEAR! approach until I had a wife and small children to take care of... you have to leave your house sometimes! and you have to leave your loved ones there. and sure my house is a fortress of paranoia and I pray to the gods of war every night someone breaks in so I can prove my manliness in a hand to hand fight to the death with armed strangers screaming terrorist slogans... but I don't want to my kids getting shot up or burned alive in the conflagration just because I want to die gloriously in battle...

A guy I grew up with showed up at my house on bath salts on saturday morning at 4:15 AM. It was one of the most unsettling things I've ever seen in 33 years of life. Throw everything you thought you knew about drugs out the window, this stuff made an absolute lunatic out of a normal dude. I started my weekend thinking I was going to have to kill an old friend in self-defense in a walgreens parking lot at 6am in 10 degree weather.
