We all like sharing goofy, anecdotal musings and reminiscing. It's a nice collective experience, and sometimes a collective bitching experience. Now, if you wanted something that used to read like a schizophrenic mind dump that runs at the speed of light, I would point you to RT. I think they've cleaned-up in the past year or so, though.

Well a lot of the times I would drink because I was alone. It would kill time because I would drink and pass out right away. I would try and remember my friend who killed himself while in the service. I just couldn't believe he had deployed with me to come home and kill himself out of the blue. I felt alone a lot of the times. I guess because the only people I knew were to the left and right of me but I could never express feelings because it was frowned upon. I couldnt talk about a bad day, cry, say something positive or even laugh. They despised all of that. Even though I still enjoyed my time with my brothers again I wish I could tell them how I felt about them. Stuff like that. So I would just drink alone and cover up let out everything I felt inside without no one seeing. But yeah... This is awkward for me even share but thanks for listening.
