Sounds more like a really bad Heavy Metal Band than a group of bad guys.

Alright, time to wander out into the wild blue yonder and forage for some food.
Any suggestions on lunch stuff? that was back in the eighties when everything was a half hour commercial to sell toys....peppered with commercials to sell cereal

There are 7 Chinese restaurants in my area, and they all have different specials.
A Chinese restaurant in one of the small towns on the border got fined for serving cat

I'm borderline HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE... well...almost.... I was stopped at the border and sent back. A twelve or twenty-four hour open/close to include time-zones would be ideal. I feel like all this would be bogging Rooks down...Possibly? He said two weeks could be doable. We can try it in thread form, so it wouldn't be something to add to his list. Input from everyone with interest is appreciated. Offline

Between the preservatives, the massive sugar content, the dyes, the complex carbs, etc, those cereals all ended up being somehow worse for you than just eating a half dozen donuts. God bless you, Fruity Pebbles. And re: commercials. That always killed me when the Michael Bay Transformer movies started coming out, the cries of "selling out". Yo, guys, it started as a 22 minute toy commercial. I'm pretty sure no one's artistic values were compromised any further than they already were. dudes you prolly missed wacky packages... they were so fricken awesome

Well, the chat code is already vaguely real time in that it refreshes automatically, which is why I was going to use it as a base (and maybe improve it along the way). The plan is basically: - Clean up/genericize the chat code as necessary - Make it instanceable - Give instanced rooms the notion of a 'host' - Add hooks for extra plugins to go on top of it (like a "trivia" control panel) #1 and #2 are simple enough, just from what I know of the chat code as it is. #3 is just making the moderator options flexible and allow limited upscaling of privileges for the host. #4 is reasonably straightforward as well, since the things it would need to do are: - Randomize teams (easy javascript piece) - assign points - display a scoreboard None of those pieces is particularly arduous, but I have a fairly busy week this week, so the odds of getting it in next week's patch is probably low (though maybe the upgraded chat piece, who knows). But two weeks? That should be more than enough time, barring disaster. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Bismarck.Leneth said: » Caitsith.Zahrah said: » EDIT: Rooks is tinkering with the mechanics of it. I'm not installing a breathalyzer on the thing, man. Drink up. I'm usually stuck at work friday afternoons. I don't think I'd be fired for a bottle under my desk though...

Keep it in an oversized flask and whenever someone questions you, call it "Medicine".
maybe adding a timer to a question and then randomizing the next question ?
btw teriyaki chicken and steak with steam rice/vegies for lunch Bismarck.Misao said: » randomizing the next question I'm leaning this way as well. It doesn't have to be two weeks, I was just going with the time-table you gave in PMs. It's whatever. You're being generous with this in the first place.
