I know he was thought to have gone crazy and was fired and became kinda a recurring character, my dad used to watch. Some tablet he found in the sand drove him insane. I thought they ended up killing him off though.

The first 4-5 seasons of the original show are where it's at; it went downhill a bit after that, but the movies weren't bad. My wife was a HUGE X-files fan back when we met, so I got a lot of exposure. We both quit watching after Mulder "left"; I know she went back and watched the rest at some point, but I did not.
She and I are of a mind in thinking that this could be really good, but it wouldn't have broke our hearts if they'd just let it be and not done anything more due to the potential for it to go wrong.
Then again, hey. Gillian Anderson is easily my favorite Hollywood "milf" around, soooo...I'll watch one way or another.
Side note: Favorite episodes are definitely "Die Hand Die Verletzt" and "Jose Chung's From Outer Space".

Beef and broccoli sauce has a bit of sodium, not a lot of calories, the way General Tso's or some such does.
I'm actually down 6 pounds over the past three weeks. Chinese Wednesday is actually the peak of my calorie intake for the week. It's the only day I top 2000 calories.
And I'm reinstating the gym routine starting today, actually.
