I'm going to go hide in my work for a while. Anna Ruthven said: » I'm not a fan of trophy hunting. As my dad sayes "I have yet to find a good antler recipe." I hunt for food, and to be honest, it's my family's vacation. We'd like to get something but if not, that's fine. Tags and licenses are expensive if you buy tags for both Buck and doe. $65, $25 license, $20/tag. Sounds like my grandfather's mantra. I'm not sure why, but venison, wild turkey and wild duck are just so satisfying! (Maybe because it's seasonal, like pumpkin pie! :D) I never really liked wild hog that much, but I don't really like pork anyway. People hunt rock dove here and smoke it. Seems like too much work for such little meat to me. /shrug Siren.Mosin said: » Idk, I don't like it, but wtf, we have to deal with reality on reality's terms, not ours. When I was a young adult a fox had cubs in the bushes of a golf course, so we got to see em' running around acting stupid in the creek, but eventually so many people were there taking pictures & ***all the time so GF&P trapped em' & hauled them out of town somewhere. they also once shot a moose to death on the west side just because everyone was so *** confused as to why there was a moose here, they took a lot of flack on that one. Gee, I don't know, Skeeter. Let's just shoot it! I think the flack is understandable. Are your animal control services or game wardens trained or equipped to handle those instances? I always have the option of LSD! /buzz killington lsd distorts reality but you still have to deal with it in a very real way... reminds me of the time one kid tried to reach out and touch a moving train... we never did find his hand. I have mounted fish from my youth my grandmother keeps trying to get me to take because she's trying to clean her house up, and I keep trying to tell her I simply have no place for them... Okay, fine, "I don't have to accept reality on its terms." Better? My old pops either killed a kid, or came close, drunk driving that he beat "Don't drive under the influence" into us pretty savagely, so I never tried to drive tripping. It looks damn near impossible... I remember I was fixated on the dome light one time and watching the world of lights go by peripherally until they stopped and after a while I eventually looked up to realize we were in an open field of some kind... so I asked the driver where we were and he shrugged and said... "beats me"... of course at the time if someone found a car in the middle of a field they would just suspect drunk driving... Ramyrez said: » Okay, fine, "I don't have to accept reality on its terms." Better? not really... reality isn't dependent on your acceptance of it. trust me on this one... I've tried to escape a lot harder than most people lol... You may not want to accept it or say that you won't accept it but unless you invent some awesome evil genius reality not accepting machine you're gonna have to get ready to bend over...

You guys and your insistence on being overly-literal downers is really harshing the buzz around here, man.

wat ...now back to the league thread~ I'm beginning to suspect there are far more government employees on this forum than people who will admit it, the way the whole place goes into a serious lull around 3:30-4:00...
