Unleash the beast, Zah.... Dooo eeeet!
Because in his world women are to have babies and it only makes sense that taking time away from the #1 important man-thing (money and the making thereof), they don't deserve as much of it and any discrepency is thereby dismissable as completely rational, and why such the fuss already?

May this Random Snow Baby angel draw a smile on your face and distract you for a split second.

It's far, far more resilient than people think. You can lose a good bit and still be fine. yeah, I realize that, it's just a little jarring, & weird to think about in general. However, this is also a once-in-her-lifetime to play this as a get well soon card: thanks leneth & mil! the snow babies get me every time. I tried to distract myself by checking on a couple on-going projects & gamestop, but it only ate up about an hour. I might have to do a walk through of one of my out of town projects too. idle is bad today.
This happened about 2 miles from here
Happened at 5am, traffic is still backed up for miles (I'm right next to the highway right now). Huge mess. Siren.Mosin said: » thanks leneth & mil! the snow babies get me every time. I'm from some miles down the road (Westmoreland County) and it's just as bad here when there's an accident. Or local event. A bit of snow. A light spring shower. Route 30 sucks. Edit: Damn, clicking through those pictures. That's a serious mess. It looks like no one died at least? Which is good. Under construction since THE DAWN OF TIME 119 Around Indiana has been in a constant state of construction since at least 1998, which was my first experience with it when my wife (then-girlfriend) went down to visit IUP before she started there the following year. I've heard tell that it's gone on since long before then. Basically they started over by the turn to go to Clymer and have worked on the four lane for the past 16+ years, once they got done they seriously just went back and started over, and now they're widening everything and modifying the Indiana exits. Also, let's not forget that we have a literal Route 666 in Pennsylvania that winds through some kinda creepy middle-of-nowhere forest, and it has a tendency to wash out and the like during bad weather. And it runs between Sheffield and Marienville. Neither are places you want to end up. Asura.Dameshi said: » We can do without Harrisburg. Seriously. Fun fact: Lancaster city is a huge drug trafficking city due to it's centralized location between New York, Philly, DC, Baltimore, etc. Asura.Dameshi said: » Fun fact: Lancaster city is a huge drug trafficking city due to it's centralized location between New York, Philly, DC, Baltimore, etc. Pennsylvania is pretty good at drugs in general. The cities deal 'em, the poor people in the sticks get high as kites because they've got nothing to do and their lives are going nowhere. "Rural America. Asura.Dameshi said: » Well Harrisburg is a more central location. That is the only reason I can think of. Yeah, that's true, but still kind of funny. It's not really "central". Something in the vicinity of Stage College or Bellefonte would have been better in that regard. Ah well. Luckily I don't have to go there much myself. But in all honesty, I'd rather go to Harrisburg than York. Possibly more than Columbia too, but that's a close one. More likely to get stabbed in York. More likely to get stabbed by a needle in Slumbia. Ever play the local news game? Watch the news and when you hear of a shooting/stabbing, guess the city before they say it. I always guess York. My win rate is pretty damn high. Of course iirc you're closer to Philly so you might not get much of that news there. You don't have coffee provided by work? O.o
