hey people who live in cold, rainy, wet climate in US what childrens clothes brands do you recommend?
we fly out this coming week and grandparents (grandma) wants to go shopping but I'm not familiar with what is available in the states. Bahamut.Kara said: » wet climate in US what childrens clothes brands do you recommend? might be a better question for z. I just gives em' moneys. Gucci Mane is pretty popular for the kids. Also the Kummy Kardashian line is particularly hot this season.

I advise you to let grandma handle it and just go with the flow. Unless you plan to take her out on one of those reindeer driven sleds to go to the torvehallerne every day she will probably just wear footed pajamas all day every day.... I'm wearing mine right now.... but if grandma wants to splurge for some outfits you can always resell them at the used clothing store later. AFTER you take several pics of her in different settings wearing them, Lakshmi.Flavin said: » Personally I have no idea but my brother's got a kid nearish the age of yours... Are you looking for raincoats and boots? Carters! Carters EVERYTHING! Decently priced, nice looking play clothes for the short amount of time before they hit their next growth spurt. Siren.Mosin said: » might be a better question for z. pffft... yeah if you want all your baby clothes spun from fair trade hemp by tibetan sherpa's wives.... o.O

I just renewed my driver's license in under 45 minutes, including looking for my birth certificate for half an hour. you creeps stay out. /looksoverhisshoulderforskull Siren.Mosin said: » don't do that. comes off as emo. flav cares way less then you think. Meh. Wasn't meant as emo. More of a "I don't think I'm that big of a deal, but in case anyone wonders." Ah well. As far as the reasoning, I'm not entirely sure. I can't imagine if I'm not streaming or downloading I'm high on the list, but at the same time, I do constantly have a browser running, so...meh. Whatever. Just makes the work day slower is all. Lunch break over! Back to working with no internet! Edit: Shiva.Nikolce said: » Touchy McFeelsalot Sounds pervy. "Remo" isn't bad. But it's also the name of a drum head manufacturer I favor, so.
I forgot Ramy was in the drumline.
Nik put this back in my head a couple of months ago. Thanks, Nik. Drumline to Destiny's Child. YouTube Video Placeholder I bet Ramy still randomly taps beats to stuff with things. Looking for something more along the lines of this.
for tobogganing!? I think she is a little young for that... >.> that one doesn't look too bad... however the problem with most snow suits in general is getting them into the car seat wearing all that crap. just dress her warm and cover her with a blanket, then snap her into the car seat and cover her back up with the blanket. that way you don't have to wrestle adjusting the stupid car seat straps. Hmmm...That should definitely be left up to the Northerners. I have no clue how durable and warm the snowsuits and what not are from Carters. Shiva.Nikolce said: » for tobogganing!? That's what I had to do. Remove the thick coat for transport and burrito bundle. Not that the occasions that would call for it would be frequent here. Ooooo~ Grandmas and their shopping! Anything from last season or that is completely impractical but on sale is up for grabs too! LOL!
"Seersucker jacket and white pants? What are you thinking, mom?" my niece had the poofiest one piece pink snow suit. it was cute but it was a huge pain in the *** getting her into the car seat and then she couldn't move at all so she fussed and struggled the whole car ride....
and she made THE MOST annoying noise while trying to put her arms down... yeah yeah yeah you have to take the baby outside in winter for her first snow fall because it's going to be magical.... here's a preview twenty minutes getting all her crap on twenty minutes of fussing because she is so damn hot while you are getting her dressed twenty minutes of trying to get her to touch the snow on her own while she stands there with an angry look on her face because she is all "Why The F is it so damn cold in this super bright stupid room I CAN'T PUT MY FRIGGIN ARMS DOWN" Then you hand her some snow and she cries and tries to walk away and falls down face first in the snow and can't get up and you are twenty feet away snapping a picture and laughing your *** off as she struggle like a turtle and then you pick her up and her little face is all read and snow covered and you go inside. the end Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Ooooo~ Grandmas and their shopping! Grandma: "It's such a cute summer dress!" Me: "ok. But she will be too big to wear it next summer" Grandma: "oh, it'll be fine now. Just turn up the heaters" Me: "ugh huh" /takes Nik's suggestion. Puts baby in dress. Snaps picture. Puts baby back into warmer clothes. It's Mil's mom and she is having a blast buying stuff for her granddaughter Which is great if it makes her happy, but it is also really expensive. Bahamut.Kara said: » Babies sleep outside here for naps in prams. that's because they are a rock's throw from the dutch!!! dutch *** don't let your kid sleep outside Let's just hope velour dresses, crinoline lined dresses and curly-cue, aqaunetted hair never makes a comeback. Woe unto little girls born in the 1980's for that torture.
Bahamut.Kara said: » Which is great if it makes her happy, but it is also really expensive. dude just crank the heat, snap the pics, then take that crap to the store and PROFIT. buying stupid crap nobody needs is patriotic!
