Our principal is the hyper-vigilant type. He's always saying that the school is the best place for these kids and that they're benefiting more here than at home. He's right of course, but he goes out of his way to provide these kids the environment, even if 9/10ths of them don't actually show up.
LUCKY! Yeah, I saw that, myself. Didn't get much sleep because of it. Well, at one point it felt like a nuclear bomb went off in my backyard.

no one did all my work while I took a long weekend. ***. anyone do anything fun? I did, I did, I did! Drove the wife & I down to denver after ditching all our children with various old people. I had a fantastic time, & got to see st. vincent do that wonderful thing she does in person. It was magical...

nope! I watched half of the 'wolf of wall street' friday night, but sobered up & realized my *** feet were frozen. when I crawled into bed with the wife she thought I had passed out outside for a while because of the low body temps.
I might have to watch the last half, it was silly, but entertaining.

Oh! No you shouldn't have. Different circumstances. Visiting with buds is fun and all when you don't have the opportunity to see them often. We just haven't had a frivolous night out or a trip in a while without other people.
