Yeah I remember doing high protein diets back during high school for football.
I hit a plateau as well for a bit, so all I did was just see how much added sugar I was taking in and brought down to around what the American Heart Association says. Not exactly 36 grams, more like around 50. But definitely a lot less than ~120 I was at. I got to get a new battery for my scale and see how that worked. Trying to find a way to increase soluble fiber though. Not too many foods I like have it. Just baby bella mushrooms, and that's only about 4 grams or 16% (2000 calories). Raspberries have some, but not much. Corn is ok, but I'm trying to stay away from that. And my body can't handle carrots.

Been playing so much FFXI lately, now I got two hours to, move some silver, obtain vacuum cleaner bags, and hopefully blackberries are still $1.99 at the farm store. Either way need more black and rasp berries.

Heh, that cell phone thread reminds me of a story.
We were in 1st hour Computer Graphics (I don't know why), all of a sudden a dude in class starts claiming "I saw a head lice!" (I think he meant "louse.") so the teacher calls the nurse and the nurse comes down to check everyone's head...with the same gloves...in the privacy of the middle of the freaking classroom. (I'll let that sink in.) So, it comes down to me and one of my friends, we both agree to get our heads examined, but refuse to do so in the classroom. Yes, it implied we had them and no, we didn't. We did it because the nurse was handling it indiscreetly and we knew the guy who claimed he saw a louse was full of ***. On our way to the nurse's office the nurse was asked by the vice principal why she had us, she explained, the V.P. looked at us and told us "Oh, no, no, no. Your rights end at the door." I told her she needed to go sit in "one of these classrooms for a bit if you really believe that." MFW I didn't get in trouble.

we had computer labs in middle school too, but they consisted of like typing, dos BS, oregon trail, & such. It's just weird to think about. no one really had cell phones until maybe our senior year, & it was just rich kids.

My last year of high school the rich kid got one of the original iPhones, it was originally a gift for his girlfriend but he kept it for himself. That thought still makes me laugh. Anyway, it was kinda a big deal. I didn't have a smartphone till...2010? 2011? Before that I used a Samsung Rugby, I still miss being able to throw my phone. :)
