I read about that...then I looked into it more and found it full of BS. (Disclaimer: I love peanut butter)
So many websites list an amazing amount of food a woman is not supposed to eat while based on anecdotal evidence, no evidence, or false conclusions. I finally only used the Mayo Clinic list and only if I could find scientific studies.
I found it to be damn annoying.
I thought it was silly too. I only heard of it by word of mouth and was then propelled to look it up. I had fingerwags for eating fish, and not even overindulging on fish. I was told that sushi was a no-no by friends and acquaintances, but the owner of our favorite sushi joint never batted an eyelash and suggested more wasabi when I was about to pop.
I know there's hype about mercury in fish, but some people take it to the level of hysteria while pregnant.
I'm going to look that up next time.
EDIT: Basically, I just went with the upped calorie recommendation and cut out soft cheeses, had my meat well-done, cut caffeine intake (which was a ***).

A friend's BF had painted two portraits of Hunter S. Thompson and the iconic Burt Reynolds sexy pose in college. They had it in the "dining room", which was more or less the beer pong room.
I don't know if he still has them. Unfortunately and unintentionally, I was defaulted to the gal's side in that BF-divorce after college, so I haven't spoken to him in years.

my friend did a photo-quality pencil portrait of him for a birthday present or something for me. it's legit. it's hung in my basement so the only thing stopping me from getting a picture of that one is my whiskey addled memory. I'll try for this weekend & post it monday.

The P&R threads have been mind-numbingly stupid of late.
Very unfortunate. Most contributors make for a good read though, yourself included, some of us lack the energy and need to go toe-to-toe anymore, because it's all a cyclical argument.
I've been watching from the stands for the most part. Props to you, Kara, Zero, Jassik, and the rest of the gang though.
