In my youth I got carried away with drinking. There isn't a whole lot of mental work required of your friendly neighborhood garbage man. We dig through your trash for anything we can amuse ourselves with and keep one eye out for wild dogs and drunk drivers but other than that, there isn't much thought required.
I did weird things like memorize all the houses on all the routes, made detailed maps of the cities, after that was done my brain started to thirst for information... I found beer to be a very effective substitute to quench it.
When you start drinking beer at six in the morning the days rush by like water over niagra falls and it's four years later before you blink an eye.
I think I told you all my story about quitting, I was mimicking the simpson's episode when homer quit for thirty days...
For me, one of the unintended consequences of sobriety and the complete lack of meaningful mental input at my job lead to an agonizing brain data reformatting process. I remember thinking, just once I would like to recover a repressed memory that was good, or at least not painful. But it doesn't work that way. All the memories we try to seal away in the vault and wash away with alcohol are all bad.
I use, endorse and strongly recommend whiskey for those nights when the memories all try to gang up on you at once and force their way back into your conscience.... The amount of beer or wine required makes you have to get up to pee in the middle of the night.... a lot.

garbageman days... there was a shiny golden ring that every garbageman that worked for the independent companies grabbed for...and that ring was the big fat cushy job with the city. huge paycheck, full benefits, vacation time, full pension after twenty five years... fat city, the big rock candy mountain, the land of milk and honey, the whole enchilada....
To get that job you had to know somebody or know somebody that knew somebody... one of those deals. I had it in the palm of my hand... Big Big Jimmy had family that worked there and liked me well enough he was going to "put in the good word for me" I was in like Flynn... and then I blew my back out like an idiot.
But as bad as my luck was Tiny's was even worse. He got cut in half by a drunk driver on his second week on his brand new city job.
If you notice, most garbage men stand off to the side of the garbage truck and toss the garbage in. Because for some reason the blinking lights on the back of the truck is a freakin bug light for drunks.
I'll never forget the day a car plowed into the back of our truck missing me by about a foot and a half. I had just spin tossed a bag in and had my back to the truck reaching for another bag but instead of the normal thud of the bag, half the world exploded. I was still standing there with my jaw hanging open as Big Ed chased the car's driver down on foot and beat him into meat jelly... as he tried to ted kennedy away from the crash scene.
as he drag the limp body of the drunk that nearly killed me back he shook him at me and screamed "this's why you don't get behind the god damn truck!!!" "I didn't!" I screamed back. "Well don't do it!!" he screamed "I didn't do it!" I screamed back.... this went on for a while until the adrenalin wore off....
Poor tiny, we would both be retired now, right now... it's twenty five years later.

Big Big Jimmy wasn't able to get a job in the sanitation department because too many of his family members worked there. But he did get a job with the towing department..... Unfortunately
When I saw him later on his face was pale and his hair looked like it was thinning... His said his first week on the job he got called out to a motorcycle fatality accident after the coroner had cleared the scene. A lone motorcyclist had gone down on a cobblestone street at seventy miles and hour and painted the road.
Several hours later.... the fireman handed Big Big Jimmy a fire hose and said "guess which rookie gets to clean up the mess"
So Big Big Jimmy gave that poor *** the fire hose funeral. The first of many dark nightmares that would haunt him the rest of his days...

Celene(F) and Rowland(M) are more of the shyer members, but often say things that are witty, have a good pun and sometimes cause three page discussions. Celene hates when people hit on her. It doesn't stop them from trying.
Krizz is just social and likes to kill time here during work Tbest is about the same, except tends to be a douche to guys and affectionate toward girls.
Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
