Oh God! People who throw their birthdates at the end, like anywhere from 1998 to 2000 seriously make me rethink why I'm playing the game sometimes. :/ There was a 1998 when (I think) Hev and I were goofing around with new champs on a bot match. She or he was talking ***the entire time to another teammate relentlessly.
I sat there thinking, "OMG! I was a Freshman in HS, depending on when this goober's birthday is! Why am I playing this?"

People are HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE, and buy skins. There is no real, practical purpose for them other than aesthetics. Spence and I have gabbed about that before. I have two, but I don't play enough to justify a skin obsession. I'd rather buy something fulfilling to me IRL.

I've put probably $100 into the game on skins, and I'm fine with that because I've spent plenty of time playing it. I'm incredibly conservative, but I do think it's fair compensation. I like to think it's a nod to the artists, saying I appreciate the art, and I want it to represent me while I'm curb-stomping someone.
It's not pay-to-win at all, thankfully. The things you can buy affect the gameplay in no way, and everything is earn-able, except skins.
I like to win, and even I get toxic every once in awhile, usually when someone is being a *** moron or a loud mouth, but I think in general I've got a good rapport.

Yeah, only limited edition skins though have a price-tag associated with them. And there's no way to get it off my account, so I'd have to sell the account to cash in on that. So, I won't ever, but it's still humorous to know.

Today was my first official day at Target... apparently I wasn't supposed to show up so early and they made me sort returns for about 3 hours.

Mmmm...I'd say it's a toss up sometimes. I think I appreciate AH more when everyone isn't going toe-to-toe and acting like a bunch of rabid squirrels.
But then again, the chaos does make for a fun read until it reaches the point of no return.
