I forgot you and Sparth are a stones throw away from each other. Glad you're both good, Sect and Sparth.

The whole situation is more annoying than anything. I don't think the death count is too high, fortunately.

My city is flooded. You can't access about 2/3 of it. I saw water that was 2-3 feet above cars.

Good thing people listened to the evacuation.

Hopefully, tomorrow stores open up again. My main street is dead, despite not being flooded. It would be nice for the pizza and chinese food places to open up.

The school cafeteria would feed us, but the main generators blew out. Our staff is fighting hard to get ***working. They'll get it running.

I've got some power atm by finding a building that has a diesel generator, but they're shutting it at 4. Hopefully my phone can get some charge.

If I would have expected to lose power this long, I wouldn't have even made food -- as it stands, having done a normal food shop on Wednesday and an emergency shop on Sunday, I lost a lot of money worth of food.

But I'm alive and I've got water. So, it's mostly just trying not to get bored.

Hey! Are you still able to get AC3 tonight?!

Tell me how it is! I can't wait!
Yea I got it last night because gamestops not on the northeast coast still had a midnight release. I haven't touched it, I'll hopefully be playing it in a couple hours when I get off work. I read a review about it already. There was day one updates because of a lot of bugs. I hear the main story is short but there's a lot of little stuff to do. I'm excited to play it though.

I heard it was really well done but that yes, they needed to bug test better.

I wonder if the plot will lack this time around. I thought they would keep with a more European theme, seeing as though Ubisoft is based out of France, right? For some reason, I just thought the next step could have been the Hundred Years War, The French Revolution, the foundation of the Prussian Empire, or something. IDK.

/shrug

The US trumps all though.

Where they go with the story also has to do with how much longer they realistacally plan to take this series as well as where they want to end up...

Should get an English Bulldog.
Lots of the ones in this area are of course in the same bloodline as Uga, the University of Georgia mascot.

Yeah, you'd be a horrible mom if that were the case. But it may be better to wait til he's like 2-3 so he grows up with the dog. Grow from a memory point that is. Don't want to waste 2-3 years of the animals life, since you know they have finite lifespans and he will become attached etc. Save those years til he is old enough to remember.
Just my opinion.

Very true. Big breeds have a ten year life-span anyway. At least by the tail end of middle school he'll be able to cope a little better.

Yeah.
My parents got a Shi-tzu when I was 3, I still remember the day I got him. Had him all the way til right before my spring break.
He passed away the three days before I came back. He was a great dog.
And yeah he would cope better around that age. Also like I said he probably wont remember anything before 3-4. Just how memory works.

I remember just a little about the beagle my parents had when I was a toddler/pre-k. It's in very vague clips. After he died when I was five my family has just had labs and goldens. Our first lab, Belle, Died when I was a freshman in HS. Ranger, our golden retriever, died when I was almost twenty-five.

I've been hemming and hawing over getting another dog for two years now. I guess two or three more won't hurt. Still need to figure out if I'm going to keep the ***-for-brains cat at this point.
