I know we can do that now, but my wonder is mostly "Why did women give up a nice luxurious life just to do the grueling work men do?"
I don't think I could be with someone who just wanted to be a housewife :/

Work doesn't have to be grueling if you like it and the oppurtunity to get educated and be independent sounds alot better than being someone waiting at home to get poked by the breadmaker because he can hold your standard of living over your head like beggin' strips or take your water bowl away to teach you a lesson. I'm not knocking anyones lifestyle but a life of cooking, cleaning and rearing children in a relationship with very little discovery or personal ambition seems dull. Cerberus.Kalyna said: » I know we can do that now, but my wonder is mostly "Why did women give up a nice luxurious life just to do the grueling work men do?" ... Do you seriously think that way? O_o Cerberus.Kalyna said: » I know we can do that now, but my wonder is mostly "Why did women give up a nice luxurious life just to do the grueling work men do?" /Scarlette O'Hara impersonation Oh yes! This "grueling" men's work!!! EGADS! Sitting in an air conditioned office in front of two computer screens where I may snack at my leisure! Simply DREADFUL! How will my fragile mind and body ever cope with this terrible "men's work"? My stars! It seems I've come down with a touch of the vapors! Not really, Sect. Just bored. (I do prefer a girl who works as well)

Guns don't kill people, Abercrombie & Fitch's store music does.
Abercrombie and Fitch is still popular?
It is with my cousin. .-.
I hope she doesn't come to Michigan until after I leave, so I don't have to experience it ever again. Carbuncle.Skulloneix

Skull: Yeah I know how that is lol my cousin's from Calgary and they, apparently, don't have A&F there. (This was years ago tho) Cerberus.Kalyna said: » It is with my cousin. .-. How long ago was this, is she from your Ukrainian side (I know the German side of my family found American things vogue well after it was popular here, and visa-versa.), or did we hit a time warp? Carbuncle.Skulloneix said: » Funny, the last girl I had to experience the A&F crap with was from Michigan. She was also the person that made me swear off anyone that likes A&F/Hollister. Again, how long ago was this? LOL! Ramuh.Rowland said: » Is it bad I don't want to make new friends or rekindle old ones? Sometimes I feel like I'm a horrible friend because I don't keep in touch with other people unless they message me on facebook or something. But they also don't try to keep in touch with me either. I just don't know if I have the time or energy to deal with people. I'm happy with my girlfriend and video games. I've kind of done a crappy job of keeping up with some people myself, unfortunately. Don't feel bad. Your actual friends won't mind when you fall off for a little and reappear a bit later. At least, that's what I've learned. Everyone gets busy with work, family, etc. Caitsith.Zahrah said: » Not sure if this was thread-worthy, but did anyone else read about this during the weekend? I kind of got a chuckle out of it. I seriously don't understand how people could be surprised by it. I'm not suprised what-so-ever, but it's still not cool. but when you replace any kind of morals with $$$.... it's going to be an interesting century... Whats the cost of Guildwork premium?
O mf'er I must've left my browser up for a while there while working, I'm showing up way late to a passed by conversation >.<

Some of the things I read about that involves teenager these days makes me feel so uneasy. So glad I'm not having a girl. If my son is ever involved in anything like that, that's probably the only time I would ever ballistic on a kid. I wonder if they were punished at all by the athletic department. Both sides of my family are Ukrainian, Zah lol I think like 3rd or 4th cousin or something.

Ramuh.Rowland said: » Who am I going to invite to my wedding, Zah!? <~~ isn't Z but has been married doesn't matter really, you'll be so busy with pictures, dinner, dances, stupid bride/groom dances that you'll only have a sparse 30 minutes broke out over the course of the night to have a thought to yourself, let alone BS with anybody. it's over in a flash. my 2 cents Carbuncle.Skulloneix said: » Um when I was 24 so 4 years ago I made that rule of no more. As of like half a year ago, she was STILL into A&F/Hollister crap. (Her cousins are my best friends and when I would visit them, she lived with them too, I still saw her shopping bags form there) Maybe fashion is just as regional as accents in the US? I just remember Abercrombie being "the thing" from 1998 to 2003. Hollister picked up a little in college then died off here, but then again, I'll be twenty-eight soon, so it's not like I've felt the need to secure my identity with a certain brand in a decade. I can't believe some of the ***I bought just because. Carbuncle.Skulloneix
