Wait a couple years until she's a bit more secure in herself and less skittish and petty. I doubt you are considering cheating, because you're Row and that's not like you, I don't think. But if you are, don't. If she doesn't find out, you'll probably feel awful anyways. If you don't feel awful, you'll keep doing it until she does find out. Once she does find out, you'll lose a friend and a lover and trust that will be impossible to reclaim. You'll also always have the 'stigma' of a cheater, so to speak-- she'll tell her friends that you cheated, it'll get around to your next girlfriend, or your next one after that, or your wife. You don't really want to be married five years to a woman you adore with a kid on the way and have her hear from someone that you are a cheater. Even if you never cheated on her, she'll still distrust you for it. Just my opinion. Same goes for girls. If you think you might cheat, have the respect for your partner to break up first. A break-up is always better than a betrayal.

I don't see Row as a cheater. What he did that night was definitely not cheating.

It's up to you if you forgive them or not. But as it stands, we human beings are a ferociously emotionally unstable lot. We do ***we shouldn't, we break promise. Sometimes, we cheat. Sometimes a relationship is worth saving. Sometimes it's not. It's really a case by case thing. There is no heavy black/white "cheating is always grounds to breakup." Some people get struck by depression and cheat because they're spiraling down and are trying to find a sense of worth. Sometimes you're tool damn hurt to communicate right. my dad cheated on my mom but if they stayed divorced i would have never been born :P they got back together and he said he was young and stupid and still together to this day but not really the most affectionate couple lol i know people cheat but its not something id ever do knowingly lol i guess once a guy liked to call me when i was with someone else and i was told i was emotionally cheating on my bf lol :I didnt occur to me then but now i guess it makes sense :\ lol still if a bf cheated on me i probably would just dump and move on with my life lol

When people cheat, it just *** everything up. My latest ex told me very specifically that if she found out I was having sex with someone else while the two of us were together, she'd break up with me without batting an eye. And I totally agree with that sentiment. If you really feel you need to have sex with another person, then you're not mature enough to handle a relationship. So, I stood by her statement thinking it was 100%. Turns out just before I broke up with her that she wanted to have sex with other guys, and that she wanted me to just accept that and as long as she told me about it, she was free and clear. This is the same chick. So to me, the whole subject is beyond *** up, at least with her. It seems you can't take anyone's word on anything.

I think as you get older the more and more common it is to find people with commitment issues.

It's just, well, cheating is a very very big mistake. Most of you here know that my mother cheated and that is why my parents divorced. That was well over twenty years ago and she still regrets it deeply to this day and that my father and her are still in love. My mom ended up marrying the man she cheated with, they divorced several years later after years of horrible married life because he was molesting their foster daughters. He's in prison for child molestation and he can rot there. My dad has been halfway miserable in his marriage for years as well. I think if they had both been less prideful back in the day, they could have worked it out and remained married and both been much happier for it.
