There's no line to defending/fighting. Now if he went to a guarding posture then he'd be defending, but what 17 yr old isn't going to throw some fists back in defense? If he did that would be fighting and not defending.

Smart on his part, people are always looking to sue and he could have been charged as an adult. Also when sucker punched in teh temlpe you temd to lose where you are i'd assume. I think the reasoning behind it is more than what the father claims it was abouot. And the 2nd kid who jumps in for no reason, there is much more there. It shouldnt happen and i think more than 2 years of expulsion should be in order. Juvenile hall does exist for a reason.

Me too. Except I was the quiet kid who everyone thought was so crazy smart just because I didn't give them a chance to see me make stupid decisions.

On another note, that may be schools where your at lu, schools have montly drug scans by police. Also we have what are called SRO(School Resource Officers) and they do handle stuff like that. I will also say there was no ***like that happening at my school.
