I wouldn't play XI any more these days. No MMO will be getting my money until:
1) XI improves a lot of ***, adds an expansion and makes Abyssea not the primary mode of endgame
2) XIV improves.
I'm assuming the latter will happen before the former.

My main point, when this ***hit the fan (<youtube>Airplane!-***hits the fan</youtube>) was that FFXIV still sucked even with the new devs and that S-E fails at life for everything they do. Even if they managed to make FFXIV awesome, that's one out of, what, 20 games that they managed to do something right in, but only after a few months.
