No, it was 75. And I think the level cap was always at least 70.
I meant from NA release, that I did not know though, I don't remember playing when it was any lower then 70, but that was a long *** time ago.

Nah NA players saw at least a 70 cap, that I know. Coulda been 65.

When you think about it, 90 Cap is what would REALLY break the game, ***starts getting Dual Weild III(wouldn't be worried as NIN would have DW like 6 then lol) /war gets aggressor(WUT) /thf gets TH2, and ***like that.
Zilart introduced the 75 cap iirc. And most NA never saw the game before Zilart unless it was imported, since the very first NA FFXI sales included a "bonus" pack that had Zilart.

I had a friend on Asura though that imported it and I played a loooooong time ago...like 5k japanese online at a time per server, camps were completely devoid of mobs due to party overcrowding, and seeing people walking around in their AF was the ***since Haubies didn't exist. Oh,]...and don't forget how *** HARD Shadow Lord was since he was introduced with a 60 cap. It was redonkulous.

Not even close. It only increases duration of self buffs. While increasing casting time and recast times on all spells

Protect, RR, and Shell aren't affected. It's mainly just Phalanx, Stoneskin, Refresh, and Haste... maybe barspells, but who uses those?
Forgot sneak/invis/deodor. Not only does it increase there duration but it takes the randomness out of it. With composure the worst I've gotten with sulkers cape on is like 8 min and that was ice day. On windsday I average like 13min

If you have haste up, you don't really notice the difference, it almost cancels it out, maybe 1-3 seconds more.

Yeah, basically any self targeting enhancing magic spell triples in duration. Excluding Protect and Shell.

Well the thing is it doesnt matter as much on somethings because of the 5 min recast on the ja itself you just rebuff everything when refresh wears even though you got another couple minutes on some things. Unless your like full timing composure lol.

I full time it in campaign, but unless I'm solo play I don't use it at all. When I'm in a merit party or group activity where I have a refresh/haste cycle going I use my refresh wearing off as the start of a new cycle. I don't use yarnball or whatever that plugin for windower that tells you how long each buff on everyone you cast on has left.

If you don't have haste up and you're casting spells like Grav and Bind, you're gonna get raped.
That was my point. There is no if. You should always have it up.
