sadly, i had a Windows ME machine...
It... was okay for about 3-4 months then suddenly, plop, BSoD galore.
Vista is a bit better than Win ME. I like Win XP the best tho. Win 7 isn't as bad as I first thought but I still prefer XP lol
Edit: I should say, for those 3-4 months, Win ME was tolerable.
Windows XP is the father of Windows 7.
I'm glad I installed Windows 7 on my machine, it runs way better than Vista ever did on it.

I honestly spent so long getting used to the hassle that was vista. That it's no easier to use vista than 7.

My fist computer was this as a hand-me-down
along with a printer, a floppy drive and like 2-3 games. I almost ALWAYS played Winter Olympics lol >.>

I always took them apart tho XDMy first was Windows 3.0, too. It was a Wal-Mart PC made by IBM, they upgraded and sold them to smaller businesses, this one was sold to a store called "Big Lots!" who put it up for sale in their front window, my sister talked my grandpa into buying it for us, we later found out that it's modem had been removed. >.>

Then I remember a few months after, we got AOL.
LOL aol. 56k internet. AOL chat rooms. GOD I had a wonderful childhood. Can't believe it's been that long. I still remember trying to look at porn on 56k.
We lost AOL tho cuz I was bored and used one of those fake hacking bots and got instantly banned on AOL (Best move in my life). Went to Netscape i think it was (*** if i remember the ISP, just remembered it came with netscape) then we had 56k even when cable internet was out. Took a few years for me to persuade the rents to get cable internet. *** hated 56k.

mine was an Atari with Baseball 2600 and a Nintendo with Super Mario Brothers. Couldn't get the Atari to work for some reason so I full-timed the Nintendo.

I always took them apart tho XDOur next move was a Dell.. We got it from Rent-a-Center, Windows 95. I remember getting booted off when someone called the house. My grand-uncle or someone started a short-lived local internet service called 'Rapidfire', atleast I was tild he owned/started/invested in it. We used that, then we went to Yahoo. Eventually, after the cable company, TCI was bought out by Cox, we swapped from our 'wireless cable' thing to Cox and got the internet through them, which we still do.
I'm glad to say I only had to suffer a little bit through Atari.

My first one was a used Atari, one with a keyboard. I never played it and quickly lost cables, cartridges, etc. The first one I actually played was a Sega Genesis (Not the big, rectangular one, the square one.)

My GBC and GameBoy Lite/Slim whatever the hell they called it, got stolen by my cousin along with some of my games. (the ***)
