I'm actually hoping for web design just to tide me through some petty cash. It's something I can do very easily, and since I'm in a pretty busy quasi-city area, I think I can sell a few sites easy enough.
Really I want to be a lawyer. A contract or corporate lawyer in the software and technology area. Think I need a tad bit more experience for that, though.

Okay since I had to take like 3 classes (1 in hs, and 2 in college) on this, I can help somewhat. If you have no work experience its fine, trust me its not the end of the world. You just have to present yourself as someone worth the trouble of training, or even better present yourself as someone who they wouldn't have to spend that much time training as you'd already know what to do. Basically the first bit of a resume is usually like 2-3 lines describing yourself as a person. You want to make yourself sound as achieving, efficient, and amazing as possible and to describe what you'd bring to their business as an employee.
Next section has been changed a bit between diff. places. Some list schools/education, and others do skills first. So pick one or other. If schools just list your high school, your GPA, if you got a GED list that. Helps to show if you got awards in school, or any sort of recognition for anything. And some even list classes they took that would be beneficial towards finding a job. Like in my HS I took business classes, as well as computer classes. So I list those. And same goes for college. Then for skills you just list what equipment you know how to use. What programs on PC, etc.
Then you list professional experience, or if you don't have any, then volunteer experience works here as well.
Your goal is make this entire resume sound as fancy as possible, and basically sell yourself to whatever company your applying for. It helps find out what their goals are, and what they look for in employees so you can apply that in your resume. After you've typed first page, usually you make a 2nd page showing your references. Try and stray away from listing family. Usually anyone you volunteered with, or even one of your teachers work as they can vouch for your ethic in school and how well you applied yourself there.

And I dunno. The one in high school wasn't as helpful as ones I had to take in college. Part of the training for becoming massage therapist is we had to learn how to properly make a resume to advertise ourselves. So we had to business education classes that would teach you how to write a resume, what to put in it. I had to make like 5 of them @.@ It was a pain in the *** to do as well.
