Got to 62 and the outlands and frankly got bored of everything being transient and passing me by with little to no significance.

Actually... I started out as a Tauren Warrior named Moose.
Something about the silliness and shallow composition of everything made it fun for awhile; but halfway through I grew weary of how everything was made light of and was simply an insignificant part of your time.
At least in FFXI I felt super *** happy when I saved up for a few weeks to buy that jujitsu gi to have better accuracy in my parties.
While in WoW I did a dungeon with random folks who never talked or interacted whatsoever and I got some random body piece that was replaced several hours later.
Something about the silliness and shallow composition of everything made it fun for awhile; but halfway through I grew weary of how everything was made light of and was simply an insignificant part of your time.

/yawn. Went to bed a couple of hours ago woke up and couldn't get back to sleep laying there.... get up and am tried wtf!

I can't explain it well, but everything in wow was shallow and transient. Nothing mattered, nothing lasted, everything felt hallow in the end. At least with FFXI it has such a composition that allows me to better meet, interact and enjoy the substance within which WoW lacks.

Oh I know there's some cool storyline trapped under the glossy crap on the surface. But the fact that it doesn't even give you the luxury of transparency without buying ridiculous byproducts is just lame.
