Can someone please do me a favour and show me some PICS or screen shots of how my setting would need to be so that I can be at ease in doing any Dynamis. I've done 2 runs with no way in hell not being able to chat to the leaders in shell or tell ppl or alert ppl of mobs..

I was able to receive but I was soo lagged I could even reply..

IT has me at a dead lock.. and trumped????

>< PLz help thanks!

Basic things to do tho:

@1: Get a better PC
@2: Get a better internet connection.
@3: Under Misc. in settings, put your "Character Models Displayed" way down.
@4: Shadows off
@5: Animation Frame Rate down...

Its all under settings

I keep all my Chat Filters the same as my normal PT setup.

Basically, if it's not happening to me, and it isn't a Status effect, it's turned off.

It's also nice to have the "actions by foes/npc's" ones on depending on the job you are. So you can see in the chat log when a mob uses Invinc/PD/etc.

Don't forget abilitys and actions by party member/alliance so you know not to go after something that is slept.

O.oa Generally people use /assist macros. Unless you're saying not sleeping something that's already slept.

For me, I awlays turn on all chat filters, turn off shadows, turn off weather, animation fram rate all the way down, effects off (first option), and turn off names by typing /names. For some reason, /names helps me sooo much.

Always assist the main tank, i just sleepga whatever is moving, and i can recognize the mob 2hr animation so I know when it goes off.

you can say i am a visual person, i look less at the log and more at the action on screen XD

Some runs I have done, we always have someone attacking the wrong mob for some reason. You are correct though about not trying to sleep something that's slept or being slept.

Biggest part is knowing what casts/abilities everyone is doing, imo.

looks like you go on DDs:

do NOT filter actions performed by foes, you need that to see stuff like perfect dodge and invincible, but filter most everything else except /l and /p unless you're skillchaining or something.
