Absolute brilliance!

Gah, that was *** great. So much to love about this, but I think the cat's glare at the top of the stairs has to be my favorite.

Unfortunately I rendered the wrong file for that for the internet version. The final version is a lot lighter (...and looks like the eraser head poster) but I renderd the dark version. Oh well. I might fix it sometime. So lazy :(

lol Yeah I played FFXI for a while when a friend asked me to play with her ^^ but I don't really go to devart much anymore, either. always so busy! don't play games anymore, don't play on the internet as much... I have a lot of catching up to do once summer gets here.

@Israfel I love blue so much :D and wow photobucket really did kill off a lot of the details, have you set your photobucket not to resize your pictures when you upload them?

Halci!! I can't imagine how long it took, isn't like a normal flash animation, the quality is great! It sure took lot of effort... Also the story is brilliant, I've saw the vid 3 times already! Could you tell us how you animated it? Doesn't give the digital and usual Flash feeling at all...

Hi thank you! it took 4 months, though I was storyboarding in and around Christmas. Luckily y story teacher made us a very coherant work schedule that I think I'm going to reformat for every year.

Oh thank you peti, but it isn't flash at all! I actually highly dislike flash... It's animated on traditional pegged animation paper with hand-clean up and then scanned and colored with AlphaChanneling in Photoshop, compositted in after effects and then edited in Final Cut Pro... some of the shots of the cat are an after effects puppet, though. All of hte backgrounds are digital but I used pencil-mock brushes to make them look like they were done with charcoal and pencil (it was a time issue, I needed them all done within a week)

I'm really nervous, my film got into the producer's show so now a bunch of big-wig animation people in the industry are going to see it. Time to sweat bullets :(

my 1st atempt at using photoshop, thoguht i would start with something easy, resizing, layer aranging & cropping...and it took me like 2hrs to do it lol

I was bored in biology in 10th grade and drew this looking at my friends journal, took 2 days of (40 min) bio class
