Pet Gear Only!

Just want to no what are all the gear you can get for your bst for when he solo and you sit back? I no pup has a lot of options was wonder about bst what are all the options bst can use and what best set up for pet solo gear? any info will help :)

To cover the main pieces briefly, I believe Mirke Body(Augments: Pet Attk/Double Attk/Crit rate), Anwig Salade (Augments: Pet Damage-10%, Pet Haste), and -PDT Magian Axes are pretty universal in pet tanking sets. A lot of the other pieces can be interchanged with other things but these have been the champion pieces for a while.

The delve axe can't be overlooked, especially as jug pets have accuracy problems against mobs in Adoulin.

Don't forget that the Mirke body can be augmented with Pet:Acc+15. Great piece for ready command macros.

There's also Moepapa stone, or a belt from Adoulin that gives more player haste and same pet haste.

You can get some slick augments for pet ACC, but climbing that tower when level capped is for the die-hard only looking to help a very limited pet-friendly slot.

Pet: Accuracy+7 Ranged Accuracy+7
Pet: Attack+7 Ranged Attack+7
Pet: "Store TP"+8 "Subtle Blow"+8
...and I stuck Movement Speed+8% on mine.



Feet: Armada Sollerets w/ some good augments from Earth tatters including a 4% haste as well as some pet defense or call beast recast time down.

thanks for info wish they had more for bst like some killer rings and other gear options maybe see in future.

That's a nice compilation Esdain. I never see any bsts (myself included) in a good chunk of that gear.

If you won't be fighting alongside the pet, probably -pdt, evasion or mdb path axe will do best. reward axe for macro swap.

If you're standing back during a fight and are swapping in Pet: MDB axes during spells, consider also adding Selemnus Belt and Suzaku's Sune-ate w/Pet: M.Eva+5 to the macro.

Don't forget Beast Bazubands and Askar Dirs.

In a sense Ferine Quijotes +1/+2 apply here since the Stout Servant +1 is -2 dmg taken for pet

I wanted to say as a new BST this thread was very helpful. I wondered if Bestia greaves was worthy of being considered thanks to how much accuracy is needed in SoA. I used my extra 5th echelons(about 28 used) to get this:

I think you can get something as good as what I have above with +15 Attack! Also I realized 7 pet accuracy is possible so it debunks what FFXIclopedia's info states 1~6.
