Regarding the price I mentioned earlier, lol..
I just noticed the PS4 is $1000 if you pre-order it now :D
Guessing the price is gonna go down now that they officially mentioned a price, but still :P

Slower DIMMs and a GPU with a dedicated cache for the OS... Very bad move MS ~_~
Would be better if there were an option to disable their "snap" mode for full hardware utilization for direct gameplay.

I find it kind of funny have people were complaining when the Wii U's price was announce about it being "too expansive" and the PS4 and Xbox One are cost even more and I'm hurry people saying (at least for PS4) "I can't wait to get one!" Seriously... I think people just like hating on Nintendo cause it's Nintendo...

Cause the WiiU aint worth that price tag.... Once they have better titles out it may be.

the list can go on but those are typically high selling games for nintendo I just feel they rushed the system out a little too early.

I enjoy those games and the price tag is totally wroth it to me. I got my Wii U first week. Seriously this is the same crap people throw out about the 3DS and now people are buying those up like crazy...

Also 32 GB for the Deluxe Wii U? Why do console keep insisting on making systems with such low memory space. 500GB ~ 1TB should pretty much be standard at this day for all consoles.

Edit: Minus possibly handhelds. Although 32 GB should be easy enough for a handheld if cellphones can get near that amount.

Im not saying its not worth the price tag. Im just saying its not really atm unless you completely lack a Wii I guess? I looked into buying one last weekend and the only game I would have gotten it for is that new mario game. Other than that it would literally just replace me current Wii.

I guess it also depends on if you own other systems too. Because the other games out for it that are multi platform I have for Ps3/360.

*edit* and yes i will admit its selection of games at the moment is lack luster to say the least. 3DS had this problem as well during its first year. But people saying its too expansive is total BS. Anyways, at least your not 'renting' the games you buy like Xbox One...

Ya I have huge faith in Nintendo to drop some nice games soon especially with E3 here and holidays coming in a few months.

On a side note, just watched the Final Fantasy XV trailer. Noct's loock reminds me of Sasuke from the Road to Ninja movie. Also one of the characters in the trailer voice and mannerizmes reminds me of Gin from Bleach. Although he only said one line in the whole trailer.

As a military service member who gets deployed to areas WITHOUT INTERNET for MONTHS at a time, the Playstation 4 has won my money hands down. The XBone (keep reading that as x bone) with its always connected stuff is just not good for me. Yes when i am here in the states i should have internet at all times. but i cannot have a friend come over and try his new game with him/her? sorry but now. PS4 allows me to play any disc game, any time, any where. Excellent for when you get deployed and need a way to relieve stress when you are off the clock since it is hard to go out when you are floating in the middle of the ocean.

TL:DR; there is a reason military guys have lots of hand helds and most likely will not be getting xbox 1. always online = bad in my books

Also I've read 20% of the USA still does not have boradband internet access. And all Xbox'es have required broadband. Guess if you live in rural American you can't play the XBone either.

Well, I'll tell you one thing.

I own all the consoles between the NES (when I started video games) and the latest of the current generation (not counting Wii U, that's "next gen" and I didn't purchase it yet, since there are no games). Most of them, I own between 2 and 4, for various reasons (oh collector Dreamcast <3). So money isn't an issue for me either, I did buy the Vita and 3DS on launch and so on, I'm not hurting for 100$ as long as there is a reason (I didn't buy the 3G version of the Vita, for example, following the logic).

As you said, the way I see Xbox One so far is exactly the same way as the Wii U is so far: a waste of money. Wii U has no game, literally 0. If I want to play older Nintendo games, I have every single Nintendo console next to my TV, with all the games I want to play, in their original form. But that's only talking about games.

The way the Xbox One is, as a console, is very poor. There is literally nothing interesting and the main issue is that all the new functionalities added are actually things most people don't want. I'm a gamer, I buy all consoles because I want to be able to play any game I feel like playing at any time I feel like playing, I've always been like that. The very concept of the Xbox One goes against that.

I'm fond of fighting games tournaments, whether it is at work or at my home, I very often gather dozen of people and hold tournaments, hell I even take part in pro tournaments in London and they use 360s for obvious reasons. The way the Xbox One is, I won't be able to play the way I always have been and these tournaments are essentialy gonna have to use another support (thank you Capcom/SNK for moving to PC).

So, in the end, the tl;dr would be:

- The console isn't made toward the players, it removes a lot of freedom and directly attacks activities of many gamers around the world, making it unfriendly to be used, at all.
- There is, so far, not a single game that is exclusive to the Xbox One and make it worth purchasing (the console has 0 system seller, which is a bad point, see PS3/Wii U/3DS/Vita).
- They sell their system for much more than the concurrent yet do not offer as much, whether it is hardware quality or services in general. You pay more to get less, it is not right (the services offered by Microsoft are laughable at best).

Of course, it is still very early, nobody in their right mind can say "this console will always be ***" and so on. However, what we can say, has been said, I'm saying, is that, on paper, the Xbox One is the worst console to have been announced/planned since the PS3 (and even then, the PS3 wasn't that bad). But the PS3, unlike the Xbox One, had arguments that others didn't.

As for the Wii U, it pains me that it is a lesser franchise in Nintendo world but, the only game that can save them in my eyes is a new F ZERO, made by SEGA why not. That's the only franchise they haven't butchered yet.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare beats everything.

I would love to see some new MM. I really wish they would bring back side scrolling MegaMan X. Those games are the ***!

finished watching all the shows since i got home from work, only one i didn't like was EA (like every year), though i was suprising that i actually didn't get bored during the Xbox one, i'll give microsoft that.

don't think i'll buy a Xbox or PS4 though, atleast not on release since i mainly play on pc, looking forward to what nintendo will announce later today.

I'd have to say Sony (more actually SE) as im a huge FF and KH fan. But I also love the Infamous series so im excited for that too. I was sorta disappointed that it wont be a launch title though. Im excited for Nintendo now cause Im ready for some new Smash Bros and hopefully some Zelda talk.

I'm gonna say Sony no doubt, but a huge part of the reason is probably the fact that everything we hoped Sony would\would'nt do came true.

Funny that we even had to hope for console gaming to be like it currently is...
Next generation we might be ready for "always online" stuff.

I'm really excited for The Division, Thief 4, FF15, KH3, Destiny, Dark Souls 2, Infamous, The Order 1886, Watch Dogs, Witcher 3 lol >_> Way too many games. Overall I liked Sony's and Ubisoft's the best

FFXV, KH3, ESonline, Vita compatibility AND 100€ less than Xbone...are you kidding me? I consider myself an average customer, not particularly hardcore, no fangirl for either company and was open to whatever looked more promising for the next gen. But why in hell would I even consider Microsoft at this point, shut up and take my money has never been more appropriate for ps4. I got really excited and despite my usual resistance to buy new consoles they completely won me over. I'm buying it.

Mega Man X8 was really good. It went back to it's roots, plus Lumine (spelling that wrong I bet) is a lot clearer on what the Mavericks are about. They are criminals or wanting world dominantion persay. They see themselves as the next form of evolvlution and in order to progess then need to wipe out humanity. Must say they are a lot like Hitler and the Nazis. Love the Japanese opening song "Wild Fang" by Janne De Arc for this game. Unfortunately they changed it to the ending theme "Lost Paradise" for all other regions, which I also like, but Wild Fang is better. Also Sigma finally dies!

Sorry lol Also there is an Easter Ehh where you can fight Cut Man. You need save data from Mega Man X: Command Mission on your Memory Card to unlock it.

*edit* only problem with this game is some of the stages are on the short side, but I'd rather have good short stages then long bad ones. /stares at X7...
