I was thinking the same. I have a +3 crit augment. Alruna's +1 and sylvan chlamys would retain the 3/4 build but I would be giving up 10 racc and the +3 crit.

I thought the +1 SS = 2% came from iuitl wristbands testing to be 10% when they say +5.

The rumor of +1 = 2% was circulating long before that; the wording in the original node hasn't been updated since long before Iuitl existed(he did edit gearsets to include it though, just didn't modify the job traits section and such).

Byrth tested Iuitl and I believe Mythic with a new method in order to try to obtain snapshot values in a shorter amount of testing time, and got 10% for both, but shortly went back and edited his post saying he didn't trust those results. Flippant posted a table here showing that all other tested results compared to SE numbers are not 2:1. Not sure how Sope goes about testing, but one page back states he had Mirador showing 7% reduction for Snapshot +7.

I'd do more testing but too lazy to get enough -STR gear together to do the Hpmende trick :/.

During my first incursion run about a week ago, got an aug'd lutian cape with:

Str +3, Agi +2, STP +3, Snapshot +3


I had to go change my pants afterwards.

Wasted 2M on those Mirador legs /sigh

So, I should still use my Wukrette Boots rather than my Snapshot +2 iuitl boots too than...

Can confirm Mira are 7%. Arcadian legs still 0%. +1 augs on Iuitl are still +1=2%.

SE need to be more consistent with stats.

Iuitl goes up to +3 snapshot, ls-mate has +3 on both hands/feet +1

Is that a typo on the "+1" stone? Cause you normally can't get max aug with a +1.

I was wandering if anyone would suggest a good all round rng set. I have enough chapters for a full 119 reforge of af/relic and also have gotten all delve wins but yorica I think. I also plan to use the jse gun and maybe a bow if I can get a decent one pretty easy. Mostly do small stuff with only 2-3 ppl so going in for tenzen for bow are anything like the AA will be hard for me to do unless I shout and get a pug but then would have to find some good strategy to use and hope to win lot and would rather not have to go threw all that. Just want a all a round good set and then later on put together a ws set and so on. Thanks for any help and sorry if this is to long or in just one big block on a phone posting.

Now, the following discussion didn't mention this, and i'm not exactly 100% sure on it, but from my experience you really need an ilvl weapon in your main hand for the Macc. I forget which event it was.... but i was asked to use TF or WF for mag dmg, and i was putting out a consistent 150 dmg with mekki shakki equiped. switched to hurlbat (only ilvl 109) and immediatly jumped up to 1.3k. In light of this, assuming i'm not mistaken, Trilling dagger is going to be only slightly better than my mekki shakki was. It just so happens there's this new club that drops in incursion

Appears to be best in slot possibly? I don't think theres any ilvl staves that rng can use. It was stated that Mdmg is garbage with magic WS, but that was in reference to fenrirs ring +1, which is like 3 mag dmg instead of 100. But mag dmg aside, I don't think you'll find more Macc on a main hand weapon rng can use, the mag dmg is just gravy really. Thoughts?

If you change your main hand, specifically when you want to use trueflight/wildfire (and your gun) then sure.

I typically, just run fulltime with my Atoyac and Anni, as the situations where I want to use trueflight are few and far between, the loss of tp changing weapons for a couple extra damage is irrelevant imo. They sort of cancel each other out, the loss of dps changing weapons washes the gain from the change.

I'm talking like, Cherti, where you might get 2 trueflights out before it changes form. Or... (really thats the only mob I use it on lol... the warthog too, but I use an axe mainhand for slashing on that one).

If you're still using mekki, (might consider upgrading to the atoyac) then I would agree to it being worth using (the club). Out of curiosity, what were you asked to use trueflight on, Cherti? Or something else.

I gave up mekki when they introduced the WKR augs and switched to atoyac. I'm still not sure how much of a difference the mdmg would make, but yeah, the tp loss might make it a wash. As to what fight it was ... i honestly can't remember. But maybe this is something for the 4 people who made gastrophetes to consider lol?

On a magical ws, 1 Mdmg is something like 1.2 actual damage to the ws. For a rough guess, the club would add about 150 damage to the final damage.

Atoyac 12 agi and 2 wsd adds like... 200. (depending on target).

Quick pre-shot gear question. Are the legion boots still the best pre-shot boots? Is Iuitl a decent option? Also is Arcadian Jerkin +1 a viable pre-shot piece or is Caban +2 the best. I have both - I just noticed enhance snapshot on AF2+1 and wasn't sure how it worked. Sorry if this was already posted somewhere - haven't seen an updated pre-shot setup.

as far as i can tell, max aug iuitl feet and the legion boots are the same snapshot wise. 1 drops from an old event that can be lowmanned with varying degrees of success, the other could potentialy cost you millions trying for the max aug thats part of a random pool of potential augs.

WSing in Arcadian Beret +1 makes a Yoichi 4-hit a whole lot easier. Buquwik Cape is probably better than Sylvan back. Rest looks good, but I haven't played RNG in a month or two so I might be missing some newer stuff.

Ooh good point. That 4-hit Yoichi is a bear to maintain without it. I usually don't include beret in my WS sets on ranger, but I guess I would probably be better off doing so here.

-Uk'uxkaj over umbani (str aug on uk'uxkaj)
-Arcadian socks +1 over scopuli +1
-nahtirah over aetosaur+1
-lutian over buquwik

would need to put alruna+1 vs arcadian+1 in spreadsheet to know for sure... i'd personally use arcadian+1 for the str since it's highly unlikely you're capping fstr2

Which is better for Preshot on hands? Iuitl hands +1 with Snapshot+1~3 or Manibozho Gloves?

Wasted 3/4 Reg mog Pell on Wailing stones+1(x3 stacks) and the best I got so far is Snapshot+1.

Was wondering if it was worth the gil or just stick to Manibozho Gloves?
