Overkill, I would use a standard TP set, with one possible exception, that needs to be tested. Since under Overkill, you have ~66% Double Shot rate, I would assume equipping Arcadian Jerkin +1, for the Double Shot Damage +7 would work.

yup that's what I do as well.
So with the new job points, I have officially put my job points into Eagle Eye Shot dmg.
Why Camoflauge? I was really looking forward to a Barrage JP or Velocity Shot JP.

lol not true Limlight. Go look at RDM JP. For relic gun owners, camoflauge is hardly ever used. Switch to coronach when Decoy Shot is down.

Even if you're using Camoflauge it's going to last for the TP round at most, obviously. It's a lot of EXP for very little in return, but as with most JP it's very small fine tuning for a job you particularly enjoy or want to do even better in. I'd still put the points in Overkill last but the EES/Sharpshot should definitely be prioritized before either of the two new ones.
haven't seen it from the update notes, would anyone be able to test whether the relic pants snapshot are working yet?
+10% crit from camo is pretty nice, especially for relic users since you can triple-proc a critical hit.
I can't remember if camouflage works if you enable barrage, then camo right before you shoot. I'm thinking it doesn't, but that would be really nice if it did. I've never tried to camo during overkill either now that I think about it.

I'm thinking more like Camo then fire off an Eagle Eye Shot.
But it wouldn't still have a chance to crit the outgoing attack? Just thinking of ways to force that EES crit.

Anyone else try running prester through spreadsheets? I tried it and it was a very minimal dmg increase compared to Mekki/Potens. In fact, I had it losing DPS setwise..
(it could be that i'm special and didn't do everything correcly in the spreadsheet itself.)

What's the "BEST" anyone has got on the Iuitl Wristbands +1? I just got +3 Snapshot -3PDT and -4 MDT. Someone told me they have seen +4.
Also does anyone know what the Snapshot is on the Wurrukatte boots are? Is it Snapshot +3 or 3%?

I'm not a ranger expert, Wurrukatte are supposed to be +3. As there is no gear with +x%. (Only merits).
As for Iuitl Wristbands +1, I don't think +4 is possible.

Actually there is gear w/ a %...The Khepri Gamashes can be augmented with 2-3% Snapshot. Unless BG is wrong, and it is Snapshot + 2 or 3
the augment on khepri feet states "Snapshot"+# w/o a % symbol, while im sure it matches up with the values weve come to accept, lets be sure to keep an eye out for a difference with "+#%" and "+#"

Better ways to write it, that's just the most simple since I'm not sure what the rest of your rules are like that should interfere with other things the least. Though if you use a generic spell.english check it may interfere if you name the sets that way so you might want to name them something else.

i have the same thing, unless you're using Coro and only Coro I have the prester as inferior as well. I'm half tempted to not farm the thing at all

that's the way that i'm leaning. Once I get dm2 body, stp earring, and with my goading belt for my stp set up. I won't need strap at all. Since I use LS frequently I'm thinking of taking advantage of axe/shield (or dagger if the str on it is better).
Can any rangers critique my sets and let me know where I can make improvements? Using my SAM path C Cibi until I get Yoichi finished. Aphotic Kukri is STR path. Not going to bother posting preshot because it's the usual Snapshot stuff.

For TP, you could trade Paqichikaji + Sylvan Chlamys for K'ayres + Lutian Cape if you wanted some extra ranged attack at the cost of -1 enmity and a small amount of accuracy. TP Bonus Moonshade for Jishnu's if you have it.
Interesting. That might be the way to go for TP, then. Doesn't bonus TP on Jishnu's just give chance to crit?

Yes that's how it works. Will come down to preference at that point though spreadsheets do have it coming out ahead on average.
Well I always assumed it was optimal due to its value on other crit WS like CDC and V. Smite. A quick and dirty spreadsheet seems to confirm that. Afaik, it is just for the crit rate as you said.
I've been having trouble with my barrage. most of the time I usually miss or only get maybe 1 or 2 hits. I would say that average damage is about 2500. Not sure how that compares to other though. I feel like I am missing a lot more than I should be and I have no idea why. I always make sure to have berserk, warcry, sharpshot, and yoichi AM up when I use it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
