Sorry to bump but also wanted to ask about Wildfire on AA?
Was told it would be good to use along with LS to keep hate down.
If anyone is able to answer either of these posts I would be grateful.
Thank you.

WF does'nt provide that much less hate, but I guess it would help a little bit.

Edit: -10% at 100tp, it wont really make a difference

If you're using a relic I think Scout's +2 is still the way to go. However Orion +1 head does give a substantial boost to white damage since scout +2 stats are obviously pretty bad. If you're using an Eminent/crafted weapon on an AA/DM fight then you likely aren't WSing at 100% TP anyways at which point using Scout +2 becomes useless.

Nikia my brother, this diatribe is strictly related to 119 Annihilator

Scout's Beret +2 for tp
Orion Beret +1 for Coronach & Last Stand WS
Sylvan Gapette +2 for Snapshot

Orion Jerkin +1 for tp/ws

Orion Bracers +1 for tp/ws
Iuitl Wristbands for Snapshot
Siygn's Bazubands or Buremte Gloves for RACC

Nahtirah Trousers for tp/ws/snapshot

Orion Socks +1 for TP/WS
Wurrukatte Boots for Snapshot

Magic dmg seems to be terrible on AA.

I think Ajjub Bow if you shoot for TP, and Eminent Bow if you melee for TP

As far as the actual TP set goes, this is what I've got cooking for Difficult/Very Difficult battlefields.

ItemSet 317954

(Iuitl wristbands have Racc+7, I still need to upgrade the braccae to +1, and should have Elanid Belt sometime this week)

This set offers more than simply the ranged accuracy however; the enmity reduction is nearly the gear hardcap at -44%.

Nikia has seen this set in action more than a few times over the past week, and save for the fact that I'm using Namas exclusively for anything higher than a normal battlefield - it works out great.

Provided that you're dumping your CE onto the Pld for three solid minutes when decoy shot is up, then camouflaging for white damage exclusively once it's down (a strategy I've recommended to multiple Ajjub/Eminence JR Rngs), as long as you keep a solid head on where your damage/hate is at - you "shouldn't" have any problems enmity or accuracy wise. (*Minimal support I find necessary for difficult in this set should be at least NQ Sole, Hunter's Roll, or Archer's Prelude*)

The only issue that starts to occur is when the fight is lacking damage and drags out for longer than it should. Then, even using Namas is a gamble (10k CE/VE cap says "Hi").

Is there an NPC that sells ammo? The Bismuth bullets are 200k a stack. People actually pay that?

Edit: Oh just the Plasm looks like. Looks like I will have to Delve.

Keep in mind that you'll have a 90% recycle rate now ideally, as well as getting back ammo from scavenge. Far less ammo is consumed now than previously.

Through gear and they added recycle as a natural trait, in addition to what we get from merits and gear.

5/5 Recyle Merits + Scout's Beret+2= 90% Recycle Rate.
5/5 Scavenge + Orion Socks (+1) = 81% of expended ammo recovered.

Though now if you are considering uping DPS I believe lowering Unlimited Shot recast might be the better area to merit in group 1 since its really lowering your Double Shot recast to 2:30 from 3:00 giving you a minute where its not active in long fights.

Zerowone I thought I had read that lowering the recast of unlimited shot will not lower Double Shot recast, maybe I am incorrect...? Do you have 5/5 unlimited shot merits yourself?

Wiki shows that Unlimited Shot merits will reduce Double Shot. I hadn't thought about it, so I have not personally tested it.

Unlimited shot merits absolutely do not lower double shot recast. I merited it with the same idea, and haven't changed it yet because I've been throwing all my merits into AA.

Hmmm Snprphnx was it BG Wiki or FFXI wiki?

Unless something has possibly changed comeatmebro but yeah I was under the understanding like you said it doesn't reduce double shot (would be monumentally great if it did!)

I don't know I figured it did since they share the same timer. I had merited up 5/5 scavenge for testing purposes. Sorry if it is the case that they are exclusive of each other in that regard.

BG Wiki says merits affect it.

FFXI Wiki says it does not affect it.

I will take the word of someone who attempted and was angry at the results over either source though. ^_^

Would have to say bee pants if you don't need the Racc, otherwise Orion +1.

Thanks man...I only have NQ Orion legs and Kaabnax Trousers at the moment. Looking at both Orion +1 and Nahtirah Trousers the Nahtirah looks better to me as well, assuming RACC isn't an issue

Appreciate it!

Manibozho R15 STR path will beat out Kaabnax and seem to be your second best option. Nahtirah>Manibozho STR>Manibozho AGI>=Orion +1>Kaabnax, assuming you aren't benefiting from the Orion +1 accuracy.
