Do you use RCB for the fodder NMs?

If you have at least one outside buff, ie: Hunter's Roll or Prelude.

EDIT: From what've played with so far on Ceizak NM's bead farming, only NM that really poses accuracy issues is the gnat, as long as I'm getting both Hunter's Roll and Prelude, I can even use my normal TP set instead of my Ranged Accuracy set.

What kind of number are you seeing ? Also if you use /drg or /sam, can use staff pax grip.

Novia is nice too!

Haven't used it yet, just more of a set I could put together, been spamming Namas Arrow so long lol. Good call on Novia, that's actually even easier. Can use 2 Pyrosoul. Only piece I'd have to go after is the head. No one ever wants to do Meebles on my server.

ItemSet 303440

Fixed with Novia.

I'm asking if you can use RCB vs. specifically eft and raptor and land sidewinder reliably. Raptor is somewhat evasive. If you have to use sushi, then it falls behind LS. I'm curious to try it out if RCB is an option.

Numbers for mob with 600 defense and 120 VIT.

sidewinder:

5237 - min
5853 - max
no rcb

6163 - min
6626 - max
rcb

last stand:

5726 - min
6092 - max
rcb

(I used ideal sets for LS/sidewinder)

I can let you know whenever we go to that area again, But going from other NM's, assuming gnat is most evasive, shouldnt be an issue as long as I'm getting both Hunter's Roll and Prelude.

Alright, cool. I have to say I'm surprised, but I'll definitely check it out.

I'm just happy I didn't waste plasm on the bow. I was somewhat disappointed when I first got it.

using /drg and pot, I was shooting raptor for up to 5500 sidewinders. I don't have the best gear either.

Normal shots were doing at most 901 dmg as well, usually 630-830 or so depending if angon is on.

With 4 rolls and 5 songs, not the absolute top of the line gear, pretty standard stuff - 30 enmity or so on ws.

Just rank2 bow too for fun testing. I was surprised too.
Code
Macross 102822 0 102822 53.49 % 26/3 89.66 % 2628/5421 3954.69
 - Sidewinder 102822 0 102822 100.00 % 26/3 89.66 % 2628/5421 3954.69

I was doing gnat with Hunter's Roll and on/off Prelude with my ranged accuracy set with RCB and came out with 82% ranged accuracy last time, according to scoreboard.

Going by that, (as long as I'm properly buffed I don't think it should be that hard to use RCB.

On the lesser evasive NM's can even use full damage set as long as you have the right buffs.

Forgot to mention raptor takes less dmg when pissed too etc and more evade so stuff varies alot on him. Skillchains do seem to piss him off. Plus we don't dia the raptor.

That parse I posted is prob raptor+eft though, not just raptor.

Actually, should have made this one first, it's a little more ragtag. but still has the -45(-50 with merits) and still has +94 ranged accuracy. And I can use it right now.

ItemSet 303435

The set just above is more what I could upgrade into after a couple more pieces.

EDIT: Should be doing bead farming tonight, if I get to go RNG, I'll pay around with this NQ set a bit and let you guys know how it works.

You're not going to be using yoichi obviously so your accuracy will be slightly less depending on what rank speleogen is. Not a huge difference, but worth mentioning.

About +42 ranged accuracy less, with aftermath, +22 less without.

Working on converting the cor spreadsheet to rng. Was going pretty well, until I ran into the truckload of JAs and traits rng has.

Some questions:

1) Does True Shot function regardless of distance when Sharp Shot is up?

2) Does rng get any native (non-merited) Snapshot traits? I think I'll have to set up a separate gear page just for Snapshot/precast setups. Guess I can add Barrage to that page, too.

3) Is there a known baseline proc rate on Double Shot? (Or Triple Shot, if anyone knows for cor.) Otherwise will have to leave it out, or just use some random number.

Just have to get all the remaining JA/trait stuff implemented properly, along with the gear that modifies them, plus putting in all the rng gear. Probably 3-4 hours of work, so can probably finish it tomorrow.

Did a bit of backreading and found interesting info about tp sets and Namas sets for delve bosses, however not a Coronach setup for that. I don't wanna overshoot(pun!)the accuracy, but I also don't wanna go there and be a derp whiffing all the time, so just to be sure...anything I can take out, or I should I add in this?

ItemSet 303497

I saw the ideal generic Coronach on the guide, however I'm just not sure how much tweaking it needs to fit the delve bosses. Being a main cor I'm always paranoid about accuracy!

1. True Shot is active at all times, independent of Sharpshot.

2. No natural Snapshot trait, merits only. Each merit gives 2% delay reduction, like haste.

3. Oldwiki shows Double Shot to proc ~40%. But that seems high to me. Sylvan head +1/2 mods it in some way, assuming a higher proc rate.

Definitely don't need this much ranged accuracy in your coronach build for Naakual delve bosses Seha. Ideally you'll have lots of buffs from BRD/COR and debuffs on the NM, and I'm confident you get a sizable accuracy boost with coronach being a single hit.

I'd definitely use that set if you die or lose buffs though.

Sorry to bring this back up, but I'm getting 2 opposing opinions when it comes to /war with a Kclub. I understand that any sort of Multi-attack proc lowers the effectiveness of the club. I'm not proficient when it comes to calculations as far as attack rates, but an older post touched base that the 10% Double Attack trait as /war is only a .182 loss in attack rate.

Having gone to delve plasm farms rng/war (don't even think about Ceizak) with march + haste I rarely see the moment where I'm not ready to WS again directly after another WS.

Once again great guide and good knowledge ^^

1) No. Sharpshot only removes the distance penalty as it applies to ranged accuracy.

2) No.

3) Wiki says 40%. No idea how accurate that is.

It might be easier to test now with byrth's battlemod, so you can see exactly how many attacks per round. I'm only going off my own experience where the double attacks from /WAR are extremely annoying. Someone on wiki posted on the talk page of KC the distribution of hits with 15% DA/5% TA also, which is more than /WAR, but still a decent indication of how detrimental DA is. I just use /DRK personally.

I'd be interested in looking at a /WAR build with prosilio belt, though :O.

I had no problems landing coronach on bee with GEO eva down, hunter's, SV prelude. We got him to 47% on our first serious attempt. Accuracy went to crap after SV and bolster wore though. Next time, I'm going to put GEO in RNG pt for precision. Noticed the -DT Taint was talking about too. Attacks went from 800+ to 300-400.

Should I bother gearing RNG for delve if I am not going to get YOICHI / ANNI? I was really excited about getting the delve weapons (have like 90k Plasm) for RNG, but now after all these enmity talks, would that be worth it?

Edit::

Also, we don't have too many Rangers in the LS, maybe 4-5 at most. None of them are ANNI or YOICHI rangers either.

Been contemplating ranged accuracy lately... crazy to be back to 2006 lol. Accuracy bonus traits 1-5 are additive right? In which case a naked 99 mithra rng with full skill merits and 12 agi merits would have 638.7 racc? I know Arthars said you need 630 acc + buffs to hit the trex and I'm assuming you would need even more for the bee. I'm guessing his brds have max madrigal so they're likely gaining another 71 acc there. Do we have any idea how much racc preludes give? Neither wiki says much. I've seen some pretty crazy builds around town for max racc although I'm tempted to try a more hybrid set myself.

edit: Thinking back to tiers of mab bonus I'm thinking wiki is poorly worded. In which case you only get 60 racc from total acc bonus trait? That would put you at 522.7 racc naked?

More questions:

4) Does the Scout+2 body need to be equipped during precast to get the Double Shot proc increase? Assuming yes, but want to verify.

5) Does a relic triple damage proc on Barrage always apply to the entire Barrage, or is it applied to individual hits?

Set Sharpshot to an arbitrary +100 acc.

Preludes are assumed to give the same accuracy as Madrigals. No basis for this, but I don't have any better numbers to use.

4) No. Double shot gear only needs to be equipped before the shot fires, but not before it starts (i.e. midcast is fine).

5) It's all or none, not individually. It just takes whatever number you normally would have produced and multiplies it by 3.

The plasm weapons ^^

sidewinder: 221 bow with 74 ammo
5389-6023 - 0 food (sushi)
5866-6556 - 75 food
6342-6819 - 150 food (rcb)

last stand: 96 gun with 196 ammo (I used 4.5 as fTP assuming moonshade/fencer)

5486-6131 - 0 food
5975-6678 - 75 food
6465-6999 - 150 food (rcb)

I used khepri for both calculations, though caban might be better without berserk up for LS. I also included full buffs, minuets, chaos roll (@25%), velocity shot, etc. Echidna would potentially pull ahead of crafted gun, though.

I feel like they basically tried to even them out, and they did a pretty good job.
