That's a good question. I have no idea. I'd imagine it works like a lease, you're stuck with both payments.

Used games don't really effect me. I mostly buy new.

Like Piracy, the scourge of used games is blown way out of proportion by people who don't actually understand the industry.

Even EA has finally conceded this by discontinuing those goddamn Online Passes.

I just want to be able to play ffxi on it. And some moar RPG's that ARENT blue dragon from mistwalker would be nice.

Truth be told... i'm 98% sure i am going to be giving them my money. Same percentage as i was before the reveal.

My PS3 mostly collects dust. I've played Heavenly Sword, God of War 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Disgaea 3 and 4. I wanted Suikoden 6 but Konami cant count that high yet.

It's a shame, my PSX and PS2 got so much use.

(I own 12 different video game consoles by several developers [none portables] and used to own another 3), so i'm pretty far from being a 1 console fanboy)

The partnership with EA has me worried, their *** business practices have gotten them voted worst company in the US two years in a row (ok I'm sure Bank of America would have something to say about that) and their dealings with Nintendo have revealed a lot about how shitty they are.
EA started off supporting the Wii U but its confirmed that they are no longer getting along. EA pulled Crysis 3 from the Wii U lineup (the game was made and running on the Wii U) and there has been no support for the system since the launch. And with an EA official going Adam Orth on Nintendo just recently (EA tweets Wii U is Crap) it pretty much solidifies that Nintendo fans won't be seeing any EA games on their console any time soon if ever. This wouldn't bother me personally since I haven't bought an EA game in 4 years and haven't missed a beat in my gaming. EA can close their doors for all I care, and if this partnership requires I support EA in any capacity then PS4 here I come.

I hope they leave the part of the PS3 out of the PS4 that takes forever to do some form of installation to a new game when you put it in your system so it takes forever before you can actually play the damn game.

Wii U is crap. Hell, every Nintendo console is crap unless you're Nintendo.

Its only a problem if you get the *** *** that take a jackhammer to their disks and then sell them for a shitty 20 bucks. Same thing with rentals...i will never do games on rentals because theres that rare breed of *** that wants to see the world burn and he's gunna do it after he 100%'d these games.

Other than that, Gamestop can continue doing what its doing without a care from me.

On that note, im not buying the skynet kinect. Just doesnt seem worth the massive amount of money on system/disks to buy :(

"The Verge reports that Xbox One will not be backward compatible with Xbox 360 titles. That is according to Mark Whitten, Microsoft's vice president for Xbox Live.

When asked if Xbox One will be able to play 360 titles over Xbox Live, or by downloading them, or by some means other than a disc, Whitten said the company had no plans for such a service at this time.

That's what worries me... everything they showed... is at least 10+ years old.
