At some point while augmenting my grios, all three characters had stats very similar to that. I'd actually recommend using it over lathi too as it's barely weaker in exchange for an additional 40 magic accuracy. If you wanted, you could use snow cone to boost your damage past lathi, or if you've got enough macc you could switch Geo buffs around

8 int 25 mab 2 macc 10 burst would of been fine with it if i could of got a nice chunk of macc. How are you getting airride to 40% burst? Mind posting your full set? I'll run some numbers when I get to work. I suspect that this set is actually going to be significantly worse than Lathi+Merlinic since you didn't get a real M. Acc augment. I've actually been keeping Crackows on and using Shiva Ring +1/Friomisi over Static and Locus

Just make a list in notepad of items you need, then work on them one at a time. For items you can't obtain solo, try grouping up with ls members, pugging, mercing, or seeing if an alternative exists, which the guide provides. What personally started off as a huge list for a fresh 99 black mage now only has amalric+1 remaining.

Buying upgrade items there (especially ones that pop Geas Fete monsters) is nice, but so is also NPCing items you can buy with sparks, which sell to an NPC at a 10 gil/spark rate. There are other things you can do as well, but given my limited playtime these are generally efficient moneymakers. It's much much easier to make money in this game than it used to be. Offline

MB sets: get as close to capped MBD (40%, not including amalric gages and mujin band) as you can while maintaining high INT, MAB, and MACC. Job traits, job points, and gifts work outside of this cap. Death sets: make sure none of your sets for death drop your MP below what MP your death set casts with. Also, pretty sure they're not updated to include Taranus's Cape or optimized with Grio augments in mind. Also besides the gear sets, a TON of BLM power comes from the Job Points. You could have all that gear but without a large chunk of Job Points your going to be getting resisted like crazy.
They are all updated for Taranus's Cape, but not Grio. There are just way too many variations on sets you can get with Grio so it's really up to the discretion of the player to decide how to gear around Grio. I can personally make 5 different MB sets with different strengths and weaknesses per character with my Grios, so it seems kind of silly to make item sets for it when it's entirely dependent on the augments of your other gear
