I need advice...
Got a pic of the girl?
no but seriously, call the police. No pic of the girl, sorry.
Update: My adviser assured me there was no foul play but... I live in a pretty small town, so I doubt our cops have a ton of experience with murder. The last one was like 4 years ago and it was pretty damn obvious it was a murder. So, I think for now, I'm going to just keep my wits about me and schedule a meeting with the dean to see if he can confirm seeing both him and his brother at the same time. I'm pretty sure that the whole thing hinges on if he killed his brother or not. I'll be sure to keep you guys updated. I feel kinda bad now, I'm worried some of you have gotten your hopes up! It really is a far shot. The thing is that for years, me and my roommates have always joked about being interviewed in the future about what he was like before he was killing people. I'm just worried it's going to happen sooner than I thought. I'll give a couple more stories about him. These ones I learned about at school, early in knowing Ted. I was telling a friend of mine about my horrible new roommate and after about three small details someone across the room shouted "wait!... does he go to school here?" "yes?..." "... is his name Ted?" and thus begins the learning of this little tidbit. A girl who worked in the school was closing up the painting studio for the night and the lights were off, so she didn't check to make sure nobody was in the room. Well... Ted loves sitting in the dark, so when the girl showed up in the morning to open everything up, she was surprised to see Ted sitting in a chair, just staring at nothing. She didn't stick around to see what happened. Everyone at the school knows of Ted. In the hallways, full of people talking, Ted would walk into the area and everyone would just stop. It was honestly impressive to see. Second one, I learned from a tutor I had way back. She heard noise outside her window at around 11pm and she went out to investigate and there was Ted, yelling at a tree and attacking it. Ted looked drunk and belligerent. She said he was out there for about 10 minutes before he left for some reason or another. Fenrir.Scragg said: » Jetackuu said: » Who's Jake, and why wouldn't your mother sleep with him? I think he may have accidently given away Ted's real name. :) Thanks for sharing the story Shinobu. Any news articles about the girl online? As others have suggested, tip the police so that they can at least investigate Ted has a possible suspect. I'm curious to know the status of the investigation. Sorry you had to deal with all that crap, it must have been very stressful. Thought so... Sylph.Shinobu said: » No pic of the girl, sorry. Update: My adviser assured me there was no foul play but... Cerberus.Conagh said: » You realise, what you described is fixated obssessive behaviour consistent with most psychopaths. If he killed this girl and his brother, out of jealousy you could be his next target. Think about it "jealousy = kill" "sexual attraction = kill" Who's to say he wont try and blame it on the room mates who "ostrasized him and kicked him out"? You were right to kick him out don't get me wrong, but this guys doesn't think like you, (possibly me). He obsessed over this girl? Dead. He obsessed over his brother? Missing pressumed Dead. He obsessed over you? .... Connect the dots, call the police. Do you know what Teds "Jake" last name is? Sure you do so this is what you do call Nev from Catfish MTV and tell him your gay and want to meet ted irl and you'll find out if he has a older brother or a killer.
That's crazy man! I hope everything works out for you and I hope you get some peace of mind soon.

I would, don't have to feel bad about putting down a robot in cold blood.
That Dean is not a law expert or criminal psychologist, are they?
I'd talk with the police and if that don't work talk with the state police or FBI. Not saying it will happen but all these idiots in the mass shootings and such had trails left where people thought something was wrong with them. People said "damn that guy has issues" but never reported it. I'd really not like to see you come back here later and say "wish I said something sooner" :( Any developments?
That sounds crazy! I used to think I lived with a creepy housemate at one point but your piece of crazy definitely beats mine.
I would definitely talk to the police, they might at least be able to track down the whereabouts of the brother and even if they do nothing with the information- at least you did everything you could. You might be completely paranoid, but better safe than sorry. Anyone hear from the OP lately or know where they are from? Before we jump to any conclusions. Let the speculating begin.
