A 99 masamune sam losing to a nin and a whm dd is really pushing what I can believe. The change to 1h brings the attack cap to level with 2h, but that only matters when you can cap attack pre-nerf anyway - something whm struggles on due to the lack of mage gear with atk+.
As for setup, my two cents as they are..
SCH/RDM for regen, phalanx, enspells and cures
BRD/COR to buff at lamp (/cor for a single roll, rather than waste the subjob)
1~2 BLU; its been said, but a good blu is worth a lot. Any more than 2 can oversaturate though.
2~3 heavy DD - war, drk, sam, drg, etc.
