My upload isn't amazing, but if someone has a decent host to get it out to people I'd be fine with zipping up the .tmp2s and sending on skype or w.e.
So I just hit 'Undo Sandboxing' in FFXI Utils, and now half my game is gone. Windower wouldn't open so I investigated. Playonline wasn't even there, and I only have ROM1 to 5 with a bunch of other folders missing. Even in the ROM folders there's a bunch of folders missing from those also.

I don't think that update is accurate, I'm seeing about 1.5GB of stuff I've DLed so far. It's probably for people who don't have expansion registered.
Not sure why I have 400 less files, maybe you have DAT swaps? I did check files as soon as server went down too, possible they adjusted it before they added update button and for whatever reason the update doesn't catch that.

Hmm I did have some dat swaps, but they were pretty much gone yesterday after like a 30 file update..
I tried 3 times, i can't get logged on...

I just went down to about 24-40KB/sec for my D/L from over 140KB/sec. Gonna keep my POL update going and the BG FTP at the same time to see what wins.
BG site is down, or is unavailable due to congestion.

After 3 hours of hitting retry... I am now finally downloading .dat files and time remaining shows only 2 hours... for now... hang in there guys!

Just want to repeat that the 300 MB file is most likely NOT what you need to play adoulin unless their compression is amazing. The adoulin update is over 1.5GB.

If the person who made the patch didn't have the expansion installed, they would not recieve all of the files, resulting in a smaller download.
I can't get on BG to find where it was posted, but that seems to be whats going on to me.
I didn't even buy the expansion yet why am I forced to wait for congestion when all i want is to get on and sell my logwatch crap T_T
