Buying physical copies of PC games is so0o0o last decade.

You can buy one copy but you'll need 4 registration codes for all 4 of your POL ID's.

Hey Dio. Yes, you gotta buy 4 for each unique PlayOnlineID~

If your account is EU, you need EU activation code. Buy US copy at your own risk. (of being extremely annoyed for wasting your money)

If you're using US POL and FFXI you will need the US installer, indeed. But again, if you buy the US version the code that comes with it will not work for you.

So i figured out how to download the content from the SE site. My pc noob question is...I bought the full collection (to put it on a new pc), but on my laptop I already have all but the expansion installed. When I go to install the collection, it obviously wants to install all the content (previous expansions, base game, etc). Do I need to do anything special? Or will it know I already have the game on my pc and just install the expansion? I just dont want to overwrite anything that will screw me up.

It will know you only need SoA.

I did the same thing, when you proceed to install it it'll prompt you with a Box, simply un-check everything except SoA and proceed.

Got the download and everything seems good to go. We are way to fast for SE

Log in.

On the left hand menu, under services and options click "Select Service"

Click on the link for FFXI

Click the big blue button that says "Add a service account"

Enter your code. hit next

select the pol you want to add it to, if you have multiples on the same account.

Then you're done. Well for registering, at some point they should send you a download but I still haven't gotten mine yet.

this is why you BUY the Xbox Version ( for the disc/and key) and download/install the PC version. you do NOT need to buy both.

Anyone who received their code from SE in e-mail, would you mind telling saying what your first four characters were?

They're almost always the same from a given method of distribution, and it may help those who are receiving partial codes.

Every one of the one's I've seen all 6 codes are FFKU for the first 4.

Apparently the 16 character code is for something else. Weird.

Ok, I'm having issues getting my codes to register. I've downloaded and installed the SoA already. When I add my digital rights code I get this message:

Never mind, I just figured out my problem. /sigh lol

He's not the only one, I locked my self out only to have to reset my password from an "incorrect password."

When I tried to set it to my usual password(and the one I'm trying to log in with) the password reset screens comes back with the error: "You cannot use the current password for your new password."
