My only 4*+ melee is Alfonso that I got yesterday.
My only 4*+ mage is Cookie that I bought the other day.
My 4*+ archers are Sheryl, Serafiina, Helmut, Vilhelm, Remika, and Yuriya.

On the contrary, I am swamped with magic units. I just don't like their delay and it drives me nuts. Ive actually been trying to find more archers because ever since I saw Spoon's Joachim I have wanted more. He like... assault rifles mobs with arrows. Like he has a D rating in speed but his animation makes it look like he just peppers them. I love it.
Speed "rating" is misleading, don't think because mages say D they actually perform at a "D" rating.
At 6* teir, there are more archers than anything else as well. Or at least most of the ones people like to use. KB seems to usually be paired with the archers. Slow on mages. Poison on melee. Not always the case, but very common.

Yeah, slower speed units usually make up for it in damage output though, they'd have to. What I'm curious about is if the knockback from a D speed pushes mobs further back than the knockback from say a C+ speed if the knockback level is the same. That's the only way I can imagine it would be fair really? I don't have enough units to identify things like this yet.

That's a no. Knockback 6 is knockback 6. The higher dmg units are just more rare, hence their increased speeds. Most of those are limited edition (see: Lu Bu).
I kinda got a *** for Lu Bu.

His sprite is really dumb imo. My allies have used him. I'd never want him.
Not saying I'd go out of my way to get him, but he looks like a total bamf.

That just seems so unfair! But alas, I guess it does help with the rarity part. I'd be fun to see a Lu Bu in action.

He's soooooooooooo good though. I'd say he's probably the best unit in the game.

LuBu is far from the best unit in the game.
Monica was the best from a pure DPS standpoint around the start of the year. IDK if any of the newer reward 6*s are better, I haven't been paying much attention or trading like I used to.

I really REALLY wish there was someone willing to put their animated sprites online. I've found a few people on the forums that do it for selling purposes, but as far as I know there aren't many. There used to be a JP site that posted them along with the cards but they got removed.

When poison takes the last tick of hp off the last mob RIGHT at the little "YOU FAIL HAHA" zone line and you have to wait an hour on a fail -_-
