What's the biggest improvement ilvl Ragnarok, Yoichi, or Amano?
For reference, I have a Senbaak and an Azukinagamitsu as my current Weapons but I am looking into buying a Tsurumaru.

too much old gear in tp set, while i'm guessing it's also lower in dps you're taking a gigantic survivability hit from the defense(it does matter now)
Put your Yaoi Helm and Otronif Boots on during TP, you're 1 Store-TP short of a 4-hit. (need +49 in gear)

Just got Tsuru and iLVL Yoichi last night. Need advice on WS set for Namas. Going to try for a Thall Mantle to replace Unkai Sugemino. Pretty much the best you can do at the moment. Buquwik cape would be the only piece to upgrade to. Should be pretty cheap on the Auction House by now.
I have enough Rem's Tales to make Wakido Hands but I have to redo my AF quests first. :/ I'll get to testing them whenever I +1 them. And I actually overlooked the Ranged Attack on Wakido Haidate. They'd be a bit better if your cRatio is uncapped.

I like to be prepared for certain situations. If I'm soloing in a WKR, I've died and want to contribute without being in range of AoEs, or just want to avoid dickish AoEs from future mobs.

Anyway the ejekamal boots fit in a set?
They're not very useful compared to Rank 15A Mikinaak and augmented Otronif Boots from what I've found. They might have a place in Amano sets since overflow doesn't do anything for Kaiten, but the STP on Mikinaak/Otronif is usually needed due to the low delay. Best for non-AM3 Shoha, though.

No enhanced Zanshin on Wakido Kote. Doesn't give Counter. Didn't think it was Save TP but tested that anyway since it's easy and it's not that either.
Looks like the Hasso enhancement might add 20 accuracy.
Used Atma of Hell's Guardian for 100% Zanshin and took the information from the last row of the "Extra Attacks" tab on kparser (specifically the "Acc. Rate of Second Attacks"). Does it work on activation or have to remain equipped to receive the benefit? Because 20 ACC is kinda huge for a buff that could be full timed.
when it's needed, maybe, but there are plenty of slots to pick up acc without losing haste.

Equipment Piece Modifier Unkai Haidate +1 Gives ~1.5% Job Ability Haste with Hasso active. Unkai Haidate +2 Gives ~2.5% Job Ability Haste with Hasso active. Wakido Kote Gives ~?% Job Ability Haste with Hasso active. i fooled around with, just hands on, and just legs on, hasso up with haste samba, same attack rate. i wore gear capping haste with both unkai haidate+2, and another set with wakido, they both show same attack rate, no zanshin change, nothing, but in any case the 2 do not stack with the hasso enhancement, rather do the same thing. i think this was a piece to open up a new 4/5 hit for us, which is pretty cool in my opinion, the fact we can use otronif brais "with DA+2" seems to spice things up a bit more. |
