This is my healing set /w light arts up

in gear alone it has +47% in cure potency. I know the cap is 50% cure potency. But my question is this:
1) Having an Obi(light) Twilight cape and Chato Staff, w/ lightstrome up, i should get about 35-40% potency toward light spell aka. Cures.
Question: Can you have gear potency up to 50% and then add my obi/cape/staff and get like 90%
or
Does the Obi/staff/cape count toward gear Potency? So all i would need after those 3 ideas would be something like Nares pants?

Only things that directly state cure potency count toward the cure potency cap. Day/Weather bonuses are done in a separate step.

Obi, staff and twilight cape don't count as cure potency, so you can go to 50 and then wear obi/cape/chatpyant.

Current best cure set to my knowledge:

Is that counting rapture? Pretty sure its multiplicative so should be:

1.5*1.15*1.35(I'm pretty sure ira/twilight counts toward this, because of that under double weather+day there might be a better cape)=2.3287

So about a 132% potency increase.

it's too bad we can't replace the head somehow to boost rapture further while keeping 50% hmmm

That sounds like an insane amount of fun with 2 houring and campaigning lol
can do it in abyssea w/ atmas!

Mage Version Of Lol Abyssea Damage, was w/o divine seal.

To be fair, I don't even have my ideal set :/ I just can't bring myself to blow over 1/4th of a 99 empyrean on like 14hp more for cure 4s so I use NQ head.

You can cap can your cure potency to 50% and then any weather/day bonuses that you get from the Twilight Cape/Obis are added on top that.
So effectively you can get +95% cure potency in Temenos on Lightsday with Obi and Twilight Cape.

More, as your cure potency gear is enhanced further by day/weather bonus.

Assuming 50% potency, chat staff, double weather, twilight cape and obi
500 base
750 after % potency
Day/weather bonus comes to +50% so 750*1.5= 1125 cured or 125% potency.

(Weather/day bonus breakdown: 10% day, 25% weather, 10% iridescence, 5% cape)
