Okay, so for reasons I'm not going to get into, I use itunes for many of my music playing, archiving and burning needs. However, as of late, itunes has been refusing to burn playlists to disc, for reasons unknown. If anyone has some constructive input or solutions, it would be most welcome.

Here's the jist of it.

Okay, so I got my songs, they're all checked and ready to go.
Yay, let's burn a CD!

Everything looks good so far. The correct optical drive is chosen, and there is no special format changes or volume optimization necessary.

Then this happens. As if I had a completely empty playlist all along.
Why itunes? Why? (Note: files being prompted are ogg but play perfectly, so there is virtually no reason why it cannot be burnt to disc)

Disclaimer: I know itunes is terribad, but I have a particular reason for using it, which no other software has been able to do thus far. So if changing software titles can be avoided, it would be much preferred.

Individualized equalizer settings.
If you can find me any other software that can do that too, I will happily switch.

Windows. Version 11, 64-bit. Was using an older version (10.6 I believe) not but 30 minutes ago and it was doing the same thing. This only recently started happening.

Can't you just export the files into another format and then burn it using Windows built-in burning software?

Audacity may do it.

I probably should have mentioned that I had previously installed a third party plugin to allow Quicktime (and therefore itunes) to support ogg vorbis files. Going to reinstall Xiph and see if this helps.
Strangely, installing the new version of itunes/quicktime seemed to have no impact on playback support. It played my ogg and flac files no problem.

Edit: Xiph didn't change anything. iTunes still refuses to acknowledge there are tracks in my playlist to burn, despite clearly being there and being playable.

Found the problem.
Apparently ogg vorbis is not a valid format to burn, yet are perfectly playable alone.

*** you Apple.
