Pretty much I've always seen just something of value, but not usually equal to the value of the loan. Whether it's true or not (I have no idea) I think it's pretty well accepted that the loaner is guaranteed GM help if the deal is in the chatlog. I've given a few loans out - usually not even 30, but still - and I pretty much just accept whatever they offer, if I take anything at all.

Depends on the person. I honestly don't expect any item/gil for a loan, I just see it as me helping someone out.

just have the person getting the loan say he is accepting the loan of 30 w/e and will pay it back upon completion of w/e relic in blank minutes. then he repays it and u say w/e his name is repaid the loan in full. ur done. easy...if he doesnt pay call gm..he will handle it.
its a verbal in-game contract
