just a quick question if i want to put in as much as my conserveMP in non used slot in a gearset is this approach right ?

bassically i just have 2 important items for regen gearset so i want it to put in my conservMP gear as well, but avoid aving to change my conserveMP gear in every gearset.

Can basesets stack ?
Could i in conserveMP make a baseset based on hastegear

That's correct... it will equip everything you specify in your set, and then fill in unspecified slots from your baseset. So it would put on your whm body and gloves, and then fill in everything else (ignoring body and gloves).
(Edited because I didn't proofread and it didn't make any sense.)

I'm not sure, I've never tried before. It'd be easy to test (if I wasn't at work)... make your Haste set, then make your Conserve set with haste as the base set, then make your regen set with conserve as the base, then cast regen and see what you end up with.

Yes, you can do that. Just be careful not to create a circular reference. If you do, the game will hang for a few seconds then crash.
