Carabosse - Solo Help

Ok, so Im soloing Cara. Its fairly easy, just takes a long *** time.
I wanna know if I can change up my atmas, to help accelerate the kill speed.

This is my setup:

MC/DG/RR

Yuly (Summoned with +2 relic hands)
TP Set:


My Reward set needs work im aware, but my TP gear isnt that bad.

Any ideas?

I see no reason for that neck, stick with AF3 neck or something to up damage output. When I was soloing Cara, I just popped and walked away, letting Yuly do all the work.

I know this is completely unrelated to your question, but if you have a Blu friend with Almace, brewing Cara with said Almace blu is amazing. Effux Sudden Lunge > CDC > CDC > light = dead. I used to lock and brew 8 caras at once, but again this is not solo or anything. Just a really fast way to do cara.

DG and MC are a waste of atma if you're using Yuly. I did most of mine as BST/WAR (for KI farming) using RR/GH/SS. You'll have to use pet food but she goes down much quicker. Meleeing is risky just make sure you stock up on temps.

tbh I was thinking DG and MC together were a waste, as he rarely went below 50%.

How much quicker are we talking with me using petfood? Also, if I were to use MC/RR/Third atma. What'd be best, SS or GH (Pure DD)

Can't say exactly how much faster but I would suggest you just try it out for 1 pop. You won't be riding the reward timer is you're worried about cost. I remember only going through 4-5 zetas per fight.

You should almost never use Mounted Champion. It really just saves you in pet food.

I did alot of Cara solo's, farming my KI's seperately then returning on BST/SCH or BST/RDM to kill her. Mage sub to spam dispel and keep her regen off, I found this shortened fight considerably. Used RR/VV/MC atma's, never had to use pet food except for the occasional glitch where Cara would land a full power dmg wind nuke on Yuly unlike the rest which were low double digits.

cara is easiest solo empy paths on bst. use dippy don't need to worry so much about all the pdt gear on u can melee with your pet keep steps up & stun its tp breeze moves, if you low hp just run outta range. atmas dg is a waste & I personally use visc over mc (because visc has def/mdef +15regen) & u don't have to worry about the losing hate when taking dmg mc as on it. rr+apoc(or a different multi hit atma)+visc works well. my solo fights were around 10-15mins doing this. farm ki's on nin for best chance of proc, buy pops from ah saves wasting time farming them & u can complete this stage in a few days.

Dontcha just hate it when you get this witch down to about 20% HP & then see her health bar magically restore as you see the hated words 'Benediction' appear in your log, ewwww !!
Ok I go Bst/Dnc & use Sea Daughter/VV/DG atma & Dipper, I also melee during all 4 seasons & try to stun any heavy nukes if Winter or unless I see her about to use a 'Cyclonic' if in Summmer in which case I Snarl like a maniac & run like hell.
Gear : 2x-Petpdt Astolfo's, Twilight Helm [I switch to Anwig if pet taking a beating], Ferine Neck, Ferine +2 body, hands, legs & feet with Flame sachet in ammo slot & Twilight Belt & Ath Mantle, earring's I use Brutal & Merman with rings, Raja's & Epona's.
Food I use is Sole Sushi for me, I like the extra Str/Dex boost & Zeta's [approx 4 per fight] for pet.
My Reward set consists of Monster Jackcoat & Gaiters +1 with Ogre gloves.
With SD & VV I find I have either a 3-4k Ruinator every few minutes or else if I've taken heavy damage plenty of TP to Cure Waltz with.
As far as Dipper's Ready moves go I keep up Noisome & Spiral & only use Sudden after Benediction has been used although I recall 1 fight where the horrid wretch used it 3 times.

Just tried this fight, and with Yuly at roughly 40% hp he just disappeared. I got killed by a following Aero V. The chat log states "Carabosse defeats DipperYuly." Doesn't say how, doesn't say "Dipper Yuly takes X damage" or anything of the sort, just one second he's fine, the next he's gone. What just happened?

sounds like you hit Run Wild at some point.

Subbing /sch is win. Stay in darkarts, and use aspir as needed. She won't resist it because you'll have 400 Dark Magic skill or whatever.

She never Bene's more than once. Here's what happens. Someone else pops their cara and their cara freaks out and bene's because yours is low health. It's a pretty shitty thing to do cuz phase one cara takes anyone less than 5 minutes.

Part of soloing her is moving her away both so *** don't see you, and innocent people just popping theirs don't accidentally bene you. Afking her works reasonable well, but you're better off using some DD atmas, even if your pet solos, and getting it dead faster.

if you are fighting with pet don't forget to pop poison pots once cara does benediction
