The Parthenon: A Warrior's Kyklos
You can always make way more actually at the keyboard >.> Shoot if you took 4 characters and just did colo Rieves you could make almost a mil in an hour just from skirm pieces. Or just thf with regen farming bloodthread. Lower level mats for the new weapons/armor that someone making the weapons isn't going to bother with. Or just feed the fisherman with earth clusters or glass fibers. There is still a substantial demand for colorless souls on quetz as well so T3s are another option. Not having money is the lamest excuse to not progressing in this game.

I came back to the game (new account) in December of '12, was pretty daunting. They had just gotten rid of choco blinkers, everything seemed inflated out the ***, people walking around with capped gil, etc. ***was crazy. But I just paid attention to the market, to the direction of the game, to dev posts, and gotten well over 200 mil in that time frame, without nearly as much effort as I coulda put in. ***, if I had cared just a tad more, I'd of bought up even more Skirmish pieces prior to the update, that was so much easy money right there. Yorica Visage Vs for 100k the day before the update, 2 mil the next day. Visage Is for 1k pre update, 50k the next day. Playing smart in an MMO isn't as common as most would think. Too much "gotta have it now" attitude combined with "I have to work for it?" Its why RMT were so prevalent for so long (and continue to be, I guess?). Bismarck.Flipmode said: » can odin V2 be low manned now? havent kept up with it much 6 is iffy, needles will mess you up. We've done 9 on multiple occasions and granted that was before ilevel update. I'm not saying its not possible but 10k damage on 6 people is rough. Even if everyone was at full pdt (which is really generous) it's still nearly 1000 dmg per person.
Updated Razorfury section in the guide and a few sets. Still not motivated enough to do a total overhaul of everything that's been out dated, but that might change when they update RME.
Also, looks like Armada was finally dethroned for something(anything you fight with Ionis on). I knew this day would come, but it's still painful to see it go, especially to an ugly re-skin. Restraint Up, No Ionis. ItemSet 309277 •Assumes at least 4 STP(unluckiest roll possible) from Samurai roll or Carbonara to complete its 5hit. TP set with Ionis. ItemSet 285673 •Needs Carbonara or Samurai's Roll to maintain 5hit. •If Blood Rage is active, Huginn/Ravager's +2 are better than Whirlpool. How The Sets Compare Head to Head With Restraint Up:
•Assumes Cizin pieces have +2% Double Attack augment. •Assumes 20 STR from Boost-STR. •Assumes capped accuracy and attack. •Fighter's Roll(21% Double Attack) and Samurai's Roll(19 Store TP) used in the comparison. Note: Results may vary slightly when adding different rolls with different values. Should you stick with Mikinaak body until you get the +2 Double Attack on Cizin? Or is it still better than Mik. with the extra Vit?
If you're talking about TP sets, I don't see Mik breastplate anywhere. Just glancing w/o the spreadsheets, but maybe Gorney haubert is the way to go if you won't put gil into an Armada nor the Cizin body?
Sorry, I was talking about an Upheaval set, not TP.

Can i get by using Hfran Gambieras instead of Huginn for max tp set?

Max tier with Ionis doesn't use Huginn. Whirlpool will be better than Hfran in almost all situations.

For restraint down, what is a good replacement for TP? I don't have the Ares+1 armor or those feet NQ/HQ. I have Buremte gloves from Yumax if a acceptable replacement for hands. I also don't have Shark win yet for the feet. Otherwise, my TP set looks like the HQ set does. Armada has STP+6 Dbl+2

I'm curious, does the DPS spreadsheet occasionally screw up and return incorrect results?
I finally scraped together enough plasm to pick up Yaoyotl Helm yesterday, but before I bought it I decided to hit the spreadsheet and figure out everything I would need to change around to work it into my TP set. With every set I tried, though, Quauhapilli Helm returned higher DPS, even if it resulted in losing a 5 hit build. I even tried duplicating all of the posted "MAX" sets from this thread and Q. Helm won in every single set. This is using Tojil as the target and standard buffs (SV double march/minuet, chaos/hunter/rogue/fighter rolls and berserk/aggressor). I decided to take another look at the spreadsheet today, and am now finding that Yaoyotl wins in every set. I did not change a single thing between yesterday and today, so I don't understand why I am suddenly seeing different results. This makes me hesitant to trust these spreadsheets at all. Online

It hasn't happened yet as far as I can see, Tic. The only thing I can think that would be causing your unusual read is a miss-used buff somewhere maybe? *shrugs* I haven't encountered any problems like the one you just had.
On a side note, I *HAVE* been having trouble with the current WAR Spreadsheet. I was using an older speadsheet before and was just editing gear as updates game but I downloaded a new one to save myself the trouble and deleted the old (big mistake). I use OpenOffice and the current WAR spreadsheet is settup to allow Dual-Wield vs Greataxe settups but any and all attempts to change Weapons/Grips result in Failure: Lots of "### #### ### #######..." Across all bars pertaining to the Weapons/Subweapon slots. Is this a problem with OpenOffice? or Do I need to buy the full version of Microsoft Office? I suppose I should send Motenten a PM to find out for sure but I was hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on this issue as I can't imagine I'm the only one who has had this problem Edit: All other spreadsheets that I've used so far are working perfectly fine. Its just the WAR one, probably some kinda problem with the program recognizing Dualwield vs 2-hand. They used to be 2 separate Spreadsheets but they have since been merged so there could be some possible bugs? Not sure if this is the prob, but on the Gear tab, you can now pick the weapon type (and Grip/sub) in a separate drop down list in column A and W for TP Set 1 and 2.. this lets you choose between GA or Axe, and then you can choose the weapon itself.

I've seen the phenomenon you encountered numerous times and it's always boiled down to me doing something dumb. Aftermath setup and COR buff values are two things that have caught me more than once. Any new sets considering the new war GS, otomi helm and Ejekamal feet? Updated sets for Resolution war?
Sylph.Hyunkyl said: » Resolution Hell, why not? MS resolution ftw :p
Reso has higher potential, it may beat 99 Ukon if buffs are high enough, but I doubt it will beat Conq.
Conq with UF is just beastly, KJ isn't a bad WS at all and it's easy to pump up.
Now after that, it ~really~ depends on buffs. At max buff Rag WAR will win due to Reso's crazy high damage potential and Rag's stupid melee DPS. Once your pDiff starts dropping the crits on UF start meaning more and it flattens out. UF: 3.0 fTP (2 hit) 60% STR, can crit vs Reso: 4.75 fTP (5 hits) 100% STR, -15% attack penalty. The attack difference between the weapons means even less now and Rag was always more accurate then Ukon for when that counts. Quote: Ragnarok99 war/Sam mighty strikes self light chain Scourge Resolution You wouldn't do that. You'd just do three reso's and call it a day. Quote: Maybe you wouldn't do that, hell yes I would scourge -> reso then just spam reso. You were talking about MS which you should never use scourge in. If your in some low man situation where your the "tank" then Sekka Scourge -> Res works fine. Even with 99 Ragnarok, Scourge is pretty pathetic compared to Resolution. Unless the mob is weak to light skillchains, you're probably better off just using Resolution, especially under mighty strikes. KJ fairs a lot better with MS especially with 99 Conq. Still, even though Reso has higher potential, if you have AM3 up with Conq, I'd imagine it beats Rag for MS if only by a little. Lower X-hit and OA2-3 is really powerful even if Upheaval and it's white damage are lower.

But then if you were using mighty strikes you'd be using the new sp too that would make the advantage da/ta from conq a wash I'd waver.
