In High-end buffed situations Bale +2 wins and is even better than Ares+1 and Quauhpilli Helm, in almost every other situation you'll probably be using Phorcys Salade for the stp. I just want an excuse to use new gear :( And I dont have Phorcys head.... yet.
Also I got Store TP from other sources for my hit build, and when I get my Armada Hauberk, I will use Mala. Guess when I finally get Phorcys head I could use something other then Hagneia stone. Beside Anger bomblet there's probably not much ammos ahead of Hagneia whichever set I use. Few questions:
For tp Bale+2 head vs Karieyh For Reso Bale+2 pants vs Karieyh(suppose it depends on accuracy?) And for Torcleaver Phorcys body beats Twilight mail right? And also, how big is the improvement for Resolution from Drachenhorn to nq Mekira oto?(hq not considered) Would skip wasting money if difference is minimal, but I'm unsure. Think we need more Liberator sets, been using this (looks very ugly)

Pretty much (so Kari wins most of the time) Yes Get a Mekira-Oto, even if it's an NQ. Difference is pretty large when Day Bonus is in place (not so much on non bonus days)

taru torcleaver is best. they get the same airtime as other jobs but only jump one body length in height. it gives this "slow mo" HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE amount of hangtime thats hilarious

Ok, I have a question that's been on my mind for a bit. So, it's been said a number of times, and we've all heard it, that multi attack is really only useful up to a certain amount, at which point stacking more just stops being useful. That in mind, my question is, what's the "sweet spot"? If it's possible for there to be too much of something, that means a quantifiable number or range must exist. What is it? What's the target value?

What's the target value? No such thing as too much. Hit rate and WS frequency are what you gear for. What you are referring to is the balance of factors within each catagory. The typical order is Cap ACC, Cap haste then add as much QTDA as you can. With 2hand weapons you will also have to factor in your STP for your xhit. Due to the complexity we refer to the DPS spread sheets to balance the factors. Like for Apoc, do you 5hit with minimal QTDA or do you 6hit with stacked QTDA? A lot will depend on your buffs. Are you getting haste,marches,fighers? Is ACC capped? Lots to factor in.

Well, granted this was meant as sort of a generalized question, not specifically just drk. This just seemed like a good place to start with the question. As for my drk, I'm fine with it's build. I gear it pretty much like any other drk. But it's one of those things I've heard a lot for most jobs out there, except for maybe thf. I just didn't want to repost the question on each individual forum.

I'd advise you to ignore their input in future equipment related decisions. Kariyeh seems to add an interesting amount of STR. I would swap out the Atheling for Rancor mantle personally. Just by adding it to your set the DPS changes from 310.343(On Qilin, no external buffs) to 313.922.
As for sets; they would be along the lines of this set if you have huginn feet: ItemSet 287262 What I'm currently using as a placeholder: ItemSet 297782 All I can say is thank god for /displayhead... Is there any reason why resolution with this set is only hitting 1700-1900 on fodder?

Very simple free upgrades you can make are: - First and most important, Elemental Gorget, Soil is most versatile one. - Brutal Earring. - Karieyh feet and body ( if you don't have NNI gear ) - Rajas is better than Spiral. Then when you have some gil you can buy Mekira-Oto (+1) Pyrosouls, Fracas Grenade and Avant Gauntlets +1 (always assuming no NNI gear). I was trying to comb through to find out what the minimum STP is needed for a 5hit when /sam in a apoc drk aftermath set. help? just need the total amount.

edit: Forgot to factor in Tp return from WS. 34 or 35 depending on what you WS in.

I can't make 5 hit at the moment in my aftermath set. I would need einf body and ogiers hands.
ItemSet 172781 ItemSet 297840 ItemSet 297839 I asked cause i was about to drop some gil on tatters for adaman haub. its got stp4 and DA1 right now and was going to try for more stp, but even at 5 it wont matter, so i'll just shoot for more DA maybe if i added rose strap and phorcys head... but then i'm loosing 5% da 5 hit > 5% DA though realistically, you should only need 1 or the other, so it's more like 2-3% DA

1# It's 2013; no reason to not have a Brutal earring even if your a new player. 2# If your serious about any 2hand DD job get a Rose strap, even more so if you have a relic 2hand DD job/s. 3# Rajas Ring.. (See #1) 4# Fracas grenade is soloable by naked bst(1jug 1-2pet food). It should be a standard for reso in that slot. And considering how bst became a me2 job, ya.. On another note, NNI is not hard but since most the player base cant play there job even -decent- it makes it hard for some ppl. If u have a friend or w/e to go with it can make it less annoying, somethings you wont get stuff done in game unless you /sh or just do it. Over time you'll get the items you need/extra stuff. Regarding this, what's a good way to get one of these? I'm pretty far behind on medals and I was just spamming campaign ops when they were up but that doesnt seem to be enough anymore.
