Guildwork Problem - Can't Add Char To Account

i think i'm having this exact same problem

i get the same error msg and i am also from a server that was shutdown and merged with another (went from Midgard to Quetz). if this is in fact the problem, which it seems it is, i understand why this is happening. but i do not understand what needs to be done in order to fix it. please help me add my character to my guildwork account!
