No amount of money would make it so I would want to sell my account and the time I have put into it. The most I would do is give to a trusted friend but most likely it would get deleted like all my past accounts have.

This would be a great way to quit quit.

Selling it would pretty much ensure you're not going back (at least with that character).

If you give it to a friend you would have a feeling that you may always be able to go back.

Not that I approve of the whole RMT thing though.

I don't really know if I'll sell my account, but its not really contradictory for me to condemn buying gil and yet do something like this.

For one thing, I wouldn't buy gil because no matter the rate, I don't feel like paying any more than my monthly fee for FFXI. The 'morality' is also an issue, but the former reason more directly relates to why I would sell it: to get some (I know it wouldn't be all, as I've paid monthly fees every month sense the January after FFXI's release in NA) money back for it. Money doesn't replace the fun I did have, but if I'm quitting for good, either way I don't have access to my char.

I'm only going to quit/cancel account if its for good, otherwise I just don't log in for a while, come back on for a campaign battle or two.

ive had two good friends quit and give me there accounts and one i had for over an hour (sold what i didnt need and kept what i would use on my char)and another i only had for a few months and both friends got therr accounts back np (but one still bugs me about his brig+1 and his emp pin)eff that i paid for the account for a year >.> there mine

I guess ill stand to rant here, ive played 6 yrs and worked soooo hard on my char.. the longest break being a whole 3 weeks. it makes me sad to see so may players who just join up and get amzing things for nothing. I cry at the millions of friends who seem to have friends quit and give them crazzzy things when i work amazingly hard to help others but cant so much as find a friend willing to help back. i have friends who take yr long breaks, come back and get handed osodes, and crazy gear ive only dremt of having. ive spent years into a craft that gets so undercut i have no chance at making profit.
If i quit id give my things to those who need it, but i gotta say it be really cool if someone thought of me =/

Well, last time around I sold all my stuff and gave gil to friends, or just gave them items they needed/wanted.

Maybe since I was nice last time I'll sell my stuff and give it to RMT for real money. <.<; I wouldn't be playing, so not my problem. :P Though, that option sounds like too much work so I'd probably just give ***away again.

I'd give all my gil/items to the other half if she still played. Although knowing the retards at SE she would probably get banned for gil buying once SE realises I handed her a fair few mil.

If I was quitting for good I'd probably do something stupid to get myself perma-banned.
